Day 174 and 175
What I did for like the whole weekend. Baby showerrrr for my teacher.
Page eight finally pushes Page seven off my most recent list, then I get to page nine
Anyway, day 176 and 177 on the same page.
Finals start tomorrow! But because we get out of school at noon I can draw!
Day 178 and 179
My hardest Finals today. I can do iiiitttt!
Your pose maniacs studies are good - they are a great way to help improve your anatomy. Doing the string lines of the muscles can be a good exercise but I'd try and loosen up a little bit and really think about the "shapes" of the body and where they sit in relation to each and other and in a three dimensional space. You seem to do this quite well in your life drawings. I find it can be worth doing the really fast poses (i.e. 10 seconds) on pose maniacs as it forces you to loosen up and really think about conveying the human form through shapes and lines. Any of that make sense? I don't know
Thanks Wilko I know what you mean, sometimes I get a little too caught up in rendering when I should be doing a gesture drawing.
Days 180 and 181!
also, a skeleton that I did that I got back from drawing class:
oh god, took me a while to load all of your work such a huge amount of artwork. And that's the key, production to success. What I found to be the most interesting is your coloring ability. Also, keep your anatomy studies. Post more, cheers!
Thanks Ivan! It's a pain sometimes, but I will have 365 study pictures by the end of the year!
new sketch book makes scannign hard >:
Day 186 and 187
Also, a present for my dad
day 188 and 189
Day 190 and 191! Last day of school!
quite nice how much you draw
the more rendered anatomy studies looks good - you probably should make more of them instead of the quick ones
keep it up
Just another Journey...

So I'm doing double duty for one more week, then I'm living at my friend's house to go to the Pre-College program at UArts in Philly, so no more studies, but I will do four each weekend when I come home. Then Aug 5th I'm going to Poland so no studies for about 20 days. According to my calculations I'll be 5 days off my schedule when I return, so double studies for 5 more days and then I can finally go back to 2 poses and 1 loomis study a day. *phew*
