Looking at your sketchbook is always fun. Great work as per usual, those black and whites are brilliant. They look very cool.
Just wanted to say your work always give me a nice inspiring push. Sick improvements so far, it's one of the few things that's made me want to draw more recently.
Forrest_I: Cheers, er I got my first job around the beginning of August this year I think? Was around the time Jordy came to visit
karantina: yeah I'm going to, it's for work so I have to haha
lilnebo: Cheers Nebo
Metal Fingers: Yeah I see that, they're all too close will work on that, cheers
Pictures from my first life drawing class, in a variety of sizes and mediums. Kept making the thighs too long :/ this was much harder than I'd expected actually
these are thumbnails for my Ideas and Concepts final piece, on the theme of Autumn. Kinda figured halloween, and the colours of the season would mix nicely to make some cool creepy pictures
Some mind stuff, whenever I find time
Kevin Chen studies
Some photo studies, tried to keep these as quick as possible, all under an hour and half.
hey man, it's been a long while i didn't look at your sketchbook, and it's a huge improvment ! Looking forward to see the next updates ^^ it motivates me to post again :p I dunno if you have a plumb line, but something useful is that the heel that is carrying most of the weight is most of the timeat the same vartical line that the neck ( not necessarily in the drawing, but i mean in the space ) , maybe it'll help you ^^ c ya next time
dude the regularity of your updates is so cool.
life drawings are looking sweeet really like the top one in the last post with the tight rendering around the chest.
cant rally crit the last wip (which is looking super epic btw) but i might say that the dudes hair in thtat likne is a bit distracting. maybe change the shape a bit or you could make the hair and the sword point towards the other dudes face somehow to draw the eye. maybe that would be impossible/look shit.
keep it up mannnnn
solid sketchbook I've had a good look through here a number of times but never left a comment . I like how you render these pencils and you have skin tones down quite well, I think were about the same age? just curious but what art course have you taken for college? fun seeing your progress
Raffix: Haha not regular enough! Cheers for the crit man, yeah the hair was bugging me too, thanks
Jovian M: Yeah it was quite passive before, tried to make it feel more ohshit, cheers
walnut: Cus I suck Will try and throw some emotion in there
SnobbyOo: Of course
Dile_: Thanks man
FraserMcT: Thanks a lot!
JoeS: Cheers man, dropped a comment in your sketchbook
Been a little lazy lately but going to try and be more proactive about my life over the next month, rather than it just being all the shit that flies by while I wait for something to happen
Some shoodles (shit doodles)
A quick painting of a skull, the drawing was from reference but the painting was all from mind. Sort of shamelessly whored highlights until it looked 'good'
And a portrait from mind, experimenting with my idea for a final piece
Wow man, awesome sketchbook, Iv only had the chance to look at a few of the pages, but each one is equally as awesome as the next! Your dedication to learning is inspiring man, makes me want to cut this comment short and go draw..haha cheers man!
