I love when a low sun illuminates the cobwebs on the grass and a field suddenly has a spangly veil laid over it.
Sitting by the shore and watching the water shush over pebbles while i'm lulled into relaxation.
A smile from a child, a letter from a friend, a joke.
Collecting Horsechestnuts in autumn, and the smell when you break them open.
Crisp frosts and sunny days.
Puppies and kittens (even when they get so happy they pee on you)
Going on horseback at dawn (okay, maybe not free, but freeing...)
What do you all like for the free bonuses in life?
Driving down the highway with the windows rolled down, the wind blowing across your bare ass.
Finding a free gummi bear just sitting there, and then going back to the same alley the next day and finding another!
The smell of bigfoot.
That feeling you get when you look in the mirror and notice you grew a new body part.
When a minority notices you being non-racist and they give you an impressed look as if to say, "He's one of the good ones."
Finally finding a police officer who believes your story about the alien abduction.
The miracle of childbirth (note: it can be tough to convince the hospital to let you watch, but if you dress up as a doctor you can usually get a peek before they notice and kick you out)
Asking a girl out and she turns you down but the joke is on her because she wasn't that good looking anyway and you heard somewhere that she has a weird foot thing. She's probably not even that interesting, and plus you don't even have time for dating these days because you're so busy making all that money at your job. Her loss. Man, did she even see your car?
Using your magic for the forces of good.
When someone mispronounces something and you get to call them on it and make them look dumb in front of all your friends. It's pronounced "banal" idiot!
Inventing things. Like, I don't know, a mug that plays mp3s or an SUV with a tree planted in the back (good for the environment) or something. Oh! Has anyone invented a smoked meat cookie?
When the dog bites,
When the bee stings,
When I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don't feel so bad.
Also it helps if I'm hammered.
That smudge of blue paint on her face.
The feeling of peace when I am the only one awake at 3 am.
The energy of a busy city in the morning.
Not knowing what is about to happen next in my life.
The smile of a cute girl when our eyes meet.
Having my hard work pay off.
Being able to accomplish great things.
The feeling of hope.
"Astronomy offers an aesthetic indulgence not duplicated in any other field. This is not an academic or hypothetical attraction and should require no apologies, for the beauty to be found in the skies has been universally appreciated for unrecorded centuries."
Seeing the moon in daytime.
Having some pints with pals while watching bad horror films.
Good ghost stories.
Good hair days.
Cooking for my girlfriend.
Laughing with friends.
The smell of ocean air.
Talking until 4 AM with new friends at CA workshops.
Getting woken up by warm sunlight.
Singing in the shower.
When people are happily suprised you hold the door open for them.

Watching raindrops get illuminated by white light at nighttime.
Rain anyway. :3 And the smell...mmmm...
Standing on the back deck in the perfect temperature, the sun just bright enough but somewhat mellow (and there's GRASS and green leaves).
The sound of thunder and sometimes seeing lightning fall to the ocean's surface.
Mom's homemade bread and buns. *drool* I want one NOW!!
Hanging with my best friend and playing out 40 or 50 characters in several hours.
Getting right into a picture or photo session. The journey feels so GOOD sometimes!!
Older brother and Mom pointing out things I can't see and describing them to me in detail. ^_^ Always so sweet of them.
Little brother telling stories to me and explaining how some games work, even at his tough stage.
All us siblings watching cartoons together downstairs. And sometimes the family watching a movie or cartoons upstairs!
Other people's money.
-That feeling of hope I get when I think I might have a job.
-Knowing that wherever I am or however bad my circumstances may be I can look back at something in my life and know that I did the right thing.
-being recognised by a friend that I have not seen in forever.
-Finishing a piece that I'm proud of.
-Displays of hope in sad situations with a hint of mystery about them. Actually, I'm not sure if thats the right way to put it, but it seems the best way to describe the feeling. Its similar to the feelings brought on by cemetary statuary, especially found as graves for young children or beloved wives who died more than a century ago. I get similar feelings when seeing ruins, dilapidated old houses, or any of that type of stuff.
Golden Hour in Fall in the Hudson Valley.
Snoozing on a soft carpet in a sunlit room.
Making someone you just met laugh.
Seeing for the first time a work by a favorite artist that is just as good as his best stuff.

Handmade peanut butter.
Cooking something bizarre and having someone else actually liking it.
Reaching down to the cat in the sunlight on the floor and having him curl up around your hand when you rub his belly without opening his eyes.
Having something you worked on for months, or even years, come out right.
Hugging your little sister who's now fifty+ and saying "Screw it! Let's get it on right here on the kitchen floor..." and having her 20-ish son laugh at how embarrassed his girlfriend gets...
Finding just the right shaped tree branch for that project you're going to finish before you croak.
Watching the look of understanding slowly creep across someone's face after you just went through hell to get across an incredibly complex subject...
Standing at the edge of the woods behind your yard without your glasses, and betting you can identify all the things that are moving without really being able to see them clearly.
Going to the DMV and having the first pic shot for your ID renewal and the nice lady says, "Do you want to try for a better one?" and you answer, "Why? Considering what we have to work with, I doubt it's going to get any better..." and having fifty people behind you bust out laughing.
Those little rectangular sugar wafer cookies that look like flat pieces of ice cream cone alternating with different colors of sugar icing.
