I picked a pallet of colours and then just painted over the sketch with it. : D
Hello and welcome,
As an overall critique, I would say the anatomy needs some attention.
There are some great how-tos in the Tutorials Tips and Tricks in the Community Education section.
I would suggest concentrating on form, construction, and proportion rather than color, for right now.
Posemaniacs.com, friends, and yourself, make great drawing reference, as do decent quality photos, if you don't have access to a live model.
I hope that helps...
Specifically, the problem areas seem to be the left shoulder seems to bulge too much
the butt looks scrunched, as if you were just trying to fit it onto the page
the lower back seems to have a shape similar to what you might see in the abdomen section.
The hair needs a general shape...It looks a little wispy and I think you concentrated more on individual hair, rather than treating the hair as a whole shape.

Thank you for the tips/input. The sketch was from over a year ago, I was more bored than anything else so I just decided to slap some colour on it for a laugh and I think the general shape of it warped drastically as I was slapping colour on top of it, as I forgot to work on a layer above the sketch (whooopsie)!
