Been meaning to make this for a while. I'm still learning, so I'm going to try and keep this regularly updated.
Last post in October? Let's fix that!
Hi! I think it's great you've decided to start up on your sketchbook again. c:
I think what you should start focusing on are your fundamentals. Shape, line, form, that sort of thing. Still lives are a great way to work on these. Just set up some stuff you own and like for whatever reason and start drawing them. It's good to have them overlap.
What would you really like to get out of your sketchbook? I know some people are looking to improve on specifics, and other just want to work on everything.
If you have the time, please stop by my sketchbook, Chock Full o'Nuts.
I would appreciate any advice or critiques.
ReiGun: I don't want to overwhelm you with information, but you should really take a stroll through this thread to find some books to help you with your fundamentals. You'll be amazed at the progress you'll see once you start studying from the bottom up.
Good luck on your journey!

Some late night still life drawings.
The first one was just quick sketching. The second, I used a viewfinder and tried to avoid erasing. The third I took my time and really focused on trying to work on my shapes.
Still life of some basketballs.
