Great Works , I like it very very much, the atmosphere of the picture attract me so much, I like those details, great work ~~~ hope see more picture from you~~~~
I love these - I particularly love that octopus!
Please stop by my sketchbook!
Your sense for texture is quite amazing! Love em all!
We should start calling you a Shape Sifter. That Mechanical Thunder pic is really cool. Lots of great shapes, and use of repeated pattern brushes. You didnt go over board which is nice as well.
The underwater pic is brilliant. The detail in the coral is killer.
These are amazing. I love the desert and ruins pieces. The color in the sea piece has such great intensity which is tricky when it's so saturated, but you killed it. great job.
Hmmm. Very inspiring artwork. I really like those lovely details.
Anyway, how many hours did you spend on the details of your latests artworks if i may ask? How did you get that so nice detailed?
Keep up your great work!
Duuuude, that underwater piece is so awesome! Great colors and... well great everything.
The first piece is amazing, too. That car in contrast to the mecha storm pattern thingies... just crazy.
Well thanks a lot guys, it's quite a big deal to me to have that kind of support.
Mr. Paick: I'm a big fan of your work.
Chane: I've made this job in 20 days, and I had 11 mattes to do. Basically, I spent some hours to get all the shots I have of old castles, palace and churches. Then I just painted the rough version of each pic, with a correct perspective and realistic colors, then I started using my own photos as textures.
for the underwater piece, I've spent a small time making an image hose in painter, painting 20 different pieces of coral, and underwater structure. Then I just used it in painter, a good way to earn some precious time.
Thanks again to each of you.
I love the layouts of the illustrations, you really make excellent use of the space to create depth, and give the eye a focus. The decisions you made for the color in each piece is sweet. The matte paintings are great as well. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot pals,
Aleksi: Absolutly glad you like it !
Here's a small update:
I've made the cover art for the game "Battle of giants: Dinosaurs" for ubisoft on DS, here it is:
Very nice work here, all of them!
Well thanks a lot !
SM: A part pour la pub prince de lu je n'utilise pas de photo dans les décors, ou alors éventuellement certaines textures, mais le plus souvent "détournées"...
Pour des boulots plus vieux, tu peux aller jeter un oeil sur mon site.
duman: Thanks ! You're perfectly right about the lenght of the T-Rex arms. I've been asked to make them longer so that they might be seen more easily...
Chupacabra: There's plenty of pure gold illustrations on your site, glad you appreciate my work.
Dahamn! Highly impressive, great fukin job man! you could teach me a thing or two!! you have amazing skillz!
Thanks guys, here's a small update:
Here's a bunch of some of my new covers:
"Special war" by Xavier Mauméjean: I used some 3D base mesh to start with
"cloud masters" by Serge Brussollo, characters in alpha, especially the ghost like one :
"Ravisseurs quantique" by Roland C Wagner
And my flood is over...
Glad you like it, I don't yet feel that confident with Sci-fi, when I look at masters like vyle, khang lee, sparth, Craig Mullins, or George Hull. It's kind of difficult to create something totally new or unseen when people like those already put their mark on the visual identity of that theme. Anyway it's a fun subject.
