Change the British Airways spaceship logo to Virgin galactic and you're pretty much there! It's a great piece, very 2001. I'm also interested in that early car piece, with the woman hugging the man after he has arrived, it is full of emotion. Totally awesome 3d goes without saying, if they ever remake flight of the navigator, send 'em your ship designs! My “attempt to be useful” contribution, have you heard of either architects, Neil Spiller or Coop Himmelblau?
As always you have some fantastic stuff. When I want to see unique and stylish work, I come here.
I especially liked: http://conceptart.org/forums/attachm...4&d=1351663798 and the captive about to drown in the sewers. The mood is great!
Brilliant as always VK.
Now all I have to do is become really really wealthy so I can hire you full time for a couple of years........ and yeah I am working on that!
We are remembered only by what we leave behind.

Candra i put some work on a screen at the London meet up and man it was so dark! eep.
when you gonna do a cool car or plane ah? i bet youd bring something really interesting to it.
i pushed these a lot brighter see how its looking.
little demos form London, the last two designs are based on sketches by sergiu ikarus, thanks bud for the help!

apparently it has antigravity so doesnt need wheels.

Those latest images look great brightness wise. Ouch about the demo. Some monitor or screen setting trickery between set ups no doubt. I know my latest computer monitor shows things much brighter and more saturated than the previous one. A lot of my older stuff looks really dark and heavy colour wise as a result.
Loving those anti gravity designs you did for Waipunga, though, they look slightly nose heavy to my inexperienced eye.
hmm, youre right, he insisted no landing gear, they float apparently... but i might redo some for my own stuff with wheels and not so nose heavy too..
planes actually often to sit kind of low (or high, thinking bi-planes) at the nose and then fly flatter, maybe so theyre easier to drive around, im not sure, ill look into it tho. might be just due to packaging a landing gear actually..
on this F4 thw 'waterline' and the ground line are at an angle so the nose is high,,,, hmm, now im interested!

Hey, cool updates. I have no idea what those things are in the first image but it makes me grin to look at them. Also love the girl walking in the last one. Full of attitude and style.
Also interesting what you're saying about how planes sit/roll on the ground. I'm pretty clueless about all that and was mostly going on instinct re the nose heavy thing. But thinking about it, you're right. Some planes do sit high at the front while others look high in the back end. Thinking about old spitfire types versus modern jets. I guess it really depends on the type of flying machnie you're designing and its context. Whether it's got a propeller at the front or on the wings needing it to be higher off the ground, or if it's got any wheels at all. Yours don't so the sky's the limit (awful pun intended!).
Now you've got me thinking too, lol.
yo yo yo yo!
check out my wicked new Tumblr its exactly like this thread in a slightly different order!
