long time no post. been super busy trying to get a freelance website ready for launch. Not much to post at the moment, but here are few carnie themed illustrations for the site I'm working on (I'll post a link when it goes live). More to come.

I'm working on a series of images of people displaying their inner most thoughts/secrets. Here's an in-progress of the first, an angry boy in his early teens. The rest of the series will also depict a homeless man who hears voices (admittedly inspired by Coro's comic-in-progress) and a model who is surrounded by her inner hate and ugliness. The final pieces are going to be 18x24 prints mounted on wood. Any thoughts/suggestions much appreciated as always.
Saw where Ankh posted pictures of a Munny he was painting, and it occurred to me I'd never posted pictures of mine. Here some shitty camera-phone shots of my Cthulhu, Devil, and Houngan Munnys.
EDIT: And, for the sake of ridiculousness, here's my xbox live avatar:

Love the avatar dude. American Psycho is a cult classic. You've got some good stuff going on here. You seem like you like to do your own thing, which is always a good thing. Let's see more!
finished the piece from #33 (not much changes from the last update, aside from re-cropping it), and started sketching out the next part of the series, a homeless guy hearing voices (I'll readily admit this one is heavily influenced by Coro's vagrants comic). Now that I look at them side by side, I definitely want to reduce the size of the homeless guy and center him in the same general area as the kid in the first one. I also need to direct his eyes out of the viewer, instead glancing out to the right.

Looking good andy, I love the american psycho piece. That's the best one by far!
It seems the paintings done from images are your best ones by far. Might be worth the time to do some more portraits and studies from pictures. Not sure if all of these had photo reference or not...just something thats been helping me
Keep em coming tho!
would love to see the sketches in color sometime. good work keep it up. nice use of angles
