great work here dude...and its okay to be inspired by others and not having you style till now...one day you'll get it..so be patient and study alot cuz i see a great artist in you
FUCK frustration...i'm comin baaaaaack
You've got a great sense of color, something I personally have a lot of trouble with. Your stylization has it's charm. The proportions of the girl in the green painting are a little off; her head seems a little too big and her feet a little too small. You could stand some more environment work, but a lot of your stuff looks splash-page-y in intent in the first place.
What is it you're particularly unhappy with?
These I did yesterday. Think they're not bad. Goning to start on some paintings soon.
I think its cos of the shadows and general graveyardery. Checked out your site your stuff its pretty good.
since this is a sketch book thread thought i would post some sketch book work. My sketch book is square so not everything fits in the scanner. But its almost full and i'll buy a A4 one.
If you are reading this do you think the Bear on the thread thumbnail puts people off? Anyone know if i can change it and how?
Here is some drawings i forgot about and just dug up looking to finish them at some point. Any tips on painting robotic steel? reference etc for the shine.
i really enjoy viewing your work.. i see a style emerging already.. i always like to see sketchbook pages done with real media.. there's so much digital stuff out there, it's nice to see what the artist's hands are capable of
really so cool and I love the light in these pieces - sketchy sketch used to the max! I also agree with the color comment, super! I like the guitar guy with light blue better than the other color way, goes more with your style, also the use of anti-anatomy work throughout - wonkey and great.
Painter is extremely difficult
Starting to realise where im falling short so lots of studies and thumb nails coming soon.
nice!...i like ur stile, i like ur univers...it is something in ur sketches, something cool - so keep posting!
how the f...is CONTACHINTE?
Started this and will hopefully be a fully painted epic and not suck fingers crossed
I added colour
Need help lighting this image any tips?
I struggled to get what your work reminds me of... And it ends up it's Mike Mignola, the creator of Hellboy, especially your masked characters, they are spot on Hellboy villains, which is absolutely great!!! Your sketches are really unique, and your flat, aggresive shading and coloring suits them excellently!!!!
Very promising work man!!!!! Keep up!
i think i dont take enough time with my drawings and think them through enough. I vow to do better about thi stuff. (god im tired)
Love the updates and really like the overall style you have. Some of the proportions are a bit off in these but it's hardly a big deal, overall i think this has potential to be a badass sketchbook. keep it up.
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

A new sketch and an old painting
I think you already have your own style (very mike mignola like, I love it). I think you should improvise more on character designs, create characters based on different eras like steampunk, sci-fi, horror etc. Overall very promising Sb you have here.
Dunno if people around the world will recognise this bell end....
