You NEED to watch this. Set aside an hour and sixteen minutes, and just listen.

I saw this a couple of months ago and am sorry to hear about his death.
just watched the entire thing, woah. what a shame he died. liked the little twist on the end right there. Learned some lessons here tbh.
(23:41:52) (ArneLurk) I woner of there are people who have hairy penises
Yes I watched it too some months ago and wasthrilled that he was still alive. It's good to know he got to spend some more time with his family afterthe doctors wrote him off. A great fighter.
And a really big loss.
This Video moved me I wish i could have been at this lecture. It was also a surprise to see a few people in the audience i have worked with in the past ( emails sent). thank you for making this thread. Im very sad for his passing but im glad that he was able to achieve what he had in his time as well as being able to share it with those who came to know him and his work.
Read the book too; if you can't read the book, buy it on audio and listen to it. The lessons are basic but powerful.
I've been checking in on his blog since I first saw the video and I had noticed that his posts petered off as he went through more and more experimental treatment. The writing was on the wall. It is sad, but at least he's not in pain anymore. And his life has left a mark. Not just his work and the video and his inspirational struggle, but also, the publicity given to his fight is important. The biotech revolution is just around the corner and the more people who are aware of what's going on with deadliness of the various cancers, the more positive political force will be generated for pro-biotech legislation and investment, the sooner we will have cures for the bullshit suffering so many have to endure.

At least Icarus tried!

As tragically short as his life was, it seems clear that he got more from it than most of us will.
