So don't be shy to comment my pictures or write me a message.

Your March to May batch is much improved from your Jan-March in your digital painting. The last picture you have with the lion is very charming. I'd like to see more like that, personally. Keep it up! c:
If you have the time, please stop by my sketchbook, Chock Full o'Nuts.
I would appreciate any advice or critiques.
hey thanks DKHutcheson for your comment. yea I improved my skills from March to May and that's good BUT I have still learn a lot.
Especially human anatomy, animal anatomy and so on...
but here some work I did in the past.
the first image I did for a friend how liked to be tatooed. I liked to use the slogan: Hakuna Matata.
the second image is my very first picture I did. I used some references and a lot of good music to draw this pic traditionally.
AFTER I did this pic I decided to study Design but now I can't study here at Bavaria very bad right now. So I'm sitting at home and don't know what to do.
and here are my latest digital painting stuff!
These are the first uploads 'cause nowadays I try to improve my skills at human anatomy. To draw better human pose and so on.
Well I'll and like to post now every day a new page of my sketchbook to show you my progress
BUT first you'll see my improvement at digital painting.
so enjoy it.
So I decided to start up a daily "art diary" where I upload stuff like poses, traditional art and some stuff more.
I like to show my improvement cause I see now you only can draw amazing artwork digital if you have the knowledge about human anatomy, color, light and shadow and so on.
so I currently NEED critique and especially tips how I improve better.
so some more stuff about studying human anatomy and especially some hands sketches at Marvel style.
I learn/study human anatomy with my saintly big "Draw bible" by Gottfried Bammes. here's a link: http://www.amazon.com/Die-Gestalt-Me...ttfried+bammes
it's only awesome how detailed this anatomy book is. did someone know Gottfried Bammes?
hope you like it.
so sorry for that bad quality. Took photos about my paintings with my IPod and it's not realy good to show details.
i took a closer look on all of your sketches and i have to say that i like they way you're using light/shadows in your painting (especially this one caught my eye) you already made a good start in here and i'm glad to see you starting with figure studies and anatomy. my advice is to check up books like bridgeman, loomis and hampton. also tools like posemaniacs.com etc can be pretty helpful for daily practices
(oh and personally like this head a lot)
keep goin' dude
thanks a lot for your comment. much appreciated. So you like the hand-tree of africa... it's also one of my favourite paintings at the time.
And thanks for your tip about figure studies and anatomy. I currently use 'Die gestalt des Menschen' by Gottfried Bammes. It's super helpful to understand all these forms, edges and all that stuff around like muscels, bones, skeleton and so on. But it's also super expensive. costs around 79 €... puhu...
so I understand at this time:
You need to understand the form/lines before you can start to draw. So a lot of read and practices.
thanks for dropping at my sketchbook
I think you lack a bit in 3-dimensionality, try to draw some geometrical objects like cubes or balls and shade them (loomis made an example for ball shading with the different shading values) and check out the tutorial sector of CA http://www.conceptart.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=42 ^^
visit my Sketchbook!
thanks for your comment Neyut. It helps me a lot 'cause now I can try to improve my thinkin' about 3-dimensional.
I should try to draw more objects in a perspective way.
i try it as soon as possible.
here's a new piece of artwork-study I done some days ago for my daily "art-diary"
I like your skull studies! For your environment studies, I think most of them lack depth. This is because there is no foreground in most of them.
The third one is the most interesting one imo.
Anyways, great sketchbook, and keep on drawing!
hey Jarkuzy thanks a lot for your critique/tip. I'll keep going on and draw more perspective.
Jarkuzy: did you mean the third one with the two underwater creatures?
so and here are some more digital studies.
at this time i tryed to draw hands from imagniation. yea and the man at the left corner I draw from observation. I had a pic I found on the internet and I tryed to draw the man as good as i could.
hope you like it.
well I liked to post a video here on my sketchb88k but I don't know which button I have to push that a little youtube window will appear under my text. hmm...
could someone help me out please?!

So... I was browsing quickly through your book and noticed that you would benefit supremely from www.posemaniacs.com , www.characterdesigns.com , and www.hel-looks.com
And then pick up the Loomis and Bridgeman books to start gathering really proper anatomy.
I'll watch and crit as I see the updates!
BTW... (subscribed) :3
A Great Start! Keep doing these practices, one can never go wrong with Bammes, Dont neglect to study simple household objects.
Maybe not very exciting but great for learning perspective and form.
so first thanks a lot to:
Edward B and
Natalia Soleil for the comments/tips/critique
well new entry to my "art diary"
first pic I tryed to draw perspecitve objects out of my mind.
the last to are the "big fat cat" and the "monster" just tiny sketches I did just for fun.
well hope u like it.
is a new human anatomy studie i did a few seconds ago. I learned a lot about human dynamic and the effort a human have to use at its muscles that he/she doesn't tilt over.
(hope u understand what i mean)
great the over pic is about perspective drawing whitout observation. Only used my imagination.
by the way the last painting is about how to draw hair. I tryed to draw out of imagination. some tips to get better from u?
wicked!!! really a nice change of pace to look at your hard studying!! keep it up!
If I happen to comment on your sketchbook, please don't feel obliged to comment on mine. use that time instead to get back to work.
CA sketchbook: http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=245741
a digital piece of artwork at this time.
Try to draw some rough clothes at this time out of imagination.
some hero design cloth, gladiator and normal clothes.
well maybe i'll try to draw it with detail and references. especially the gladiator part.
by the way: have to go. I'll see "the lorax" at theater. hope it's a good one. i love animation films.
