Some aliens, part of an experiment (no warm up, max 15 minutes, first thing in the morning in school on project days).
Traveler: Thank you! I am working on it!
It's been a while - I've been playing around with different techniques.
Your car and spaceship designs are bloody amazing. I like your skecthes and enviros as well. Keep it up!
Your environments and mechanical designs are excellent as always. By the way, have any advice for those who are trying to achieve that kind of aesthetic?

Trillian: Request to be added first.
FightingSeraph: I think some differences in the aesthetics might be determined by the tool and drawing method you use. You can find a glazing and layering photoshop approach, one of extensive perspective construction, and loose marker sketching with minor perspective construction in the pictures above. It's also working from big to small, from loose to tight.
Ok, so let's dump some more space ships here.
Amazing as usual ;-) May I ask what is the difference between "extensive perspective construction" and "minor perspective construction"?
pixel cheetah: Don't worry about "minor" and "extensive" perspective construction. That's not an official term or anything It's just that I sometimes build up a picture with lots of construction lines and with others I just guess the final perspective shapes.
MoKhi: Thanks a lot! The space ships in post 66 were incredibly fun to paint!
Here, I tried to render an astronaut. This painting took me a bit longer than the above sketches.
