Thanks Krato , you are right, but "cave" in middle was main thing in this piece so i wanted to stay that way.
Thanks Okmer, it is a honor to see great artis as your self to came and visit my sketchbook
Thanks Pratim, ha ha Matejaian ha ha ha, sounds good, defenetly boost!
Thanks Grunden, i will
ok here is something new, i am working like machine and i love it!
Awesome stuff again!!! Like especially the last environment. I'm modding PC-Games (custom 3D-Models and stuff) as a hobby and you gave me some really nice ideas with this one. I might make one of those rock-needles 3D and add a living section for the player, where the cave is. Only if you don't mind though!!!
The last character looks interesting too, I might be wrong, but the head seems slightly too big in comparison with the body.
Killer stuff going on! I agree that the last fellas head is just a little too big. Makes him seem a little weak or nerdy or something. Keep at it. Loving it!
Excellent update ratio and improvement level. Can you pls tell me, what is the resolution you choose when you are starting a new painting, I mean for example is it below 1000x1000 pixels or much more than that?
Thanks Mariusz, tuchten, Digitalinkrod
Thanks Dile, glad to see you here
Thanks Sirkeneth, i have made some changes and yes head was to big
Thanks LtPlissken, glad to have you back. Well usually i go with 2k(2000x1000px), it is good size and fast, but sometimes depends what is needed

Hey man, what's up, haven't heared of you for a while now!!! What about some new stuff?!
I amdoing some matte painting challenge. I don't know how many of you are familliar with this technique but i wanted to share process.
This is first sketch i have started with. Quick paintover done in 20 min. Theme is 2012
this is second one. I wanted to be more as a set extension scene(like i get this one from actual movie scene). I started it with 4:3 aspect ratio, because i am planing to do a camera projection with some friends of mine. Later whole scene will be in 2,35 :1 aspect ratio.
some color correction
and once i have found atmosphere i wanted i have started with set extension
this will be aspect ratio i am going for
Once i am done with set extension i will start with "city destruction". I had idea to show "after " scene. Maybe a huge wave, tsunami, crashed into city and some large tankers, ships created some mess.
Matte painting is really interesting. And your sketch is looking very good already man. Great depth in it. Looking forward to seeing it finished. And I would love to see a piece with a huge fucking wave!
Keep 'em coming man! Awesome art as usual.
This is awesome Mateja!!! I'm trying to do matte paintings right now too, but never found a good tutorial on this subject. Please show further progress and maybe give some useful tips, will you?!
