Hey Eva, thanks for the thanks! Very nice stuff you've got here. The comic on page 2 is my favourite!
hey, sorry about not posting for a while. I got a job at an animation company in Iceland and things have been pretty busy since then. I try as I can however to draw in my sketchbook, whether studies or creative doodles.
here are some studies, from life and (mostly) photographs. Also some sketches with mechanical pencil, markers etc.
this is all so nice! your sketches of hands and feet are awesome. the illustrations are also brilliant, the little ape in pencil = soo good! *subscribes*
Haha, you've got a wicked style dude!
Your pencil work looks really grrrrreat Your photoshop stuff is improving really fast as well!
Keep up the good work
Raffix: Thanks! I love sketching hands and feet, those are problem areas for me so I try to study them as I can =)
Luckers: Thank you! I keep on studying
Traveler: Thanks! I'll definitely keep posting ^^
Here's a digital speedpaint I did yesterday. I couldn't think of anything original and there was nothing else on the news but the volcano eruption, so I decided to paint that ^^ It's been almost months since I last digitally painted, I need to do more of it :p
Hey, thanks for stopping by at my sb) Apparently i've seen your sb almost a year ago, but i guess i hadn't time to post smth.
Anyway - I like those cartoon characters. Are you working somethere like animation studio? If not you should ) Probably would've be nice to see other side of you - realistic digit enviros and characters (though pencils are great).
However - great sb and keep it up with updates ) really want to see more
the top right owl in post #94 is so lovely because of her face as a heart shape. You menage to make it so simple, stylized and jet it has a strong character/gesture.
Can't wait to see more from you. Keep it up, great work!
Fantastic sketchbook. So much varity and great skill with rendering.
Hi guys! Sorry about the disappearance.. lots been going on in my life, work, stress, breakup, move to new apartment etc. Now thinking it over and determined to move abroad, hopefully getting a job doing what I do for a living.
In the meanwhile, I'm trying to get back in the drawing/painting gear. Here are a couple of medustrations (meditation+illustration.. it's what I call longer speedpaintings where I just continue to paint until something comes out of it but I'm too lazy to finish) I've done over the past days
I really like this sketchbook. So much to look at. And your improving all the time which is a good thing obviously. One suggestion from me is that you could do a more realistic study once in a while. It could be awesome for you to have the ability to incorporate more "realism" to your paintings. Anyway... Really great job on this sb.
mmm killer stuff

I like how you are breaking the shapes down in those hand drawings, understanding the underlying structure of the anatomy is very important to drawing with form.
Hey guys, I forgot I had a sketchbook here. Haven't been drawing/painting as much as I should, trying to remedy that buy starting to post here again. Going more into realism, environments, experimentation etc.
Current submission is an experiment with using photos and textures to create a concept.
Oh, awesome sketchbook. Too bad to tell u any advice/criticism

Some sketches and studies from my sketchbook.
sketching my cat
this is a tiger character whose design I've struggled with for a long time. Now I feel I've finally nailed his design and now just need to get his proportions right. You can see an earlier design of him in post 94
sketching some dragons. Failed attempt at coloring with brushpens.
felt like drawing polar bears so I made a google image search for polar bears and did some studies
did the same with polar bear skulls
A little update to show you guys that I'm still going at it. Discovered Sketchbook Pro and fell in love with it, it's great for sketching and inking.
An illustration done for a client. Learnt a lot doing this one, inked in Sketchbook Pro and painted in Photoshop.
Was bored, so I went on a nostalgia kick and made a pony. Her name is Daydreamer. My Little Pony was one of my absolute favorite shows as a kid.
I love all of your sketches
Sort of inspires me to do more
And the one you posted on the first page with the robot holding the kitten reminds me of one of the scenes from Laputa
You're really good at what you do
