WARNING: LARGE DOWNLOAD
I'm a long time reader of CA, but this is my first time posting. Currently, I'm a student with hopes of entering the gaming industry as a concept artist / character modeller. I've seen many of you grow over the years through posting here, so I figured its about time for me to put some work together. Please tear this stuff up without mercy!

Heres a modeled version of the above concept. First is the block mesh (used as perspective correction in the painting), then theres the higher res. I still have allot of work on it.

Heres my first render and first ZBrush attempts...
Some more sketches
I reallly love your style with these pics. The ones in the first post are especially awesome. Keep it up!
Check out my sketchbook
I know I've said it before but that guy with the giant lance is awesome. You really need to sharpen him up and slap some color on that beast. I'm eagerly awaiting some new stuff from you so get to it! Keep up the inspiring work.
Artquest7: I agree with you there. Sometimes I tend to get bored with stuff too soon before I get to sharpen. I need to get some medicine for my ADD and stay with it longer.
If you can't sit down long enough to do it, I can totally relate, you should try doing it in sessions of 5-15 minutes. If it's a bad day that's what I usually have to do. Usually if you go back to it later, it'll be fresh again somewhat then you can pick up the focus/interest.
Thats good advice. Im trying to revisit my stuff more and more. Its really crazy because right now is a big time for my artistic growth. The stuff I thought was looking good last week looks like crap today.
I hear you there. But thats the best way to look at things. Nice update by the way. Keep it up.
I LOVE the first one. It looks kinda dirty. I like it.
Life is like a box of chocolates, when you're a fat glutton it lasts shorter.
Thanks man. I was pretty happy with the texture on that one, but I need to keep sharpening.
Some old crap and a new quickie
Good stuff man, it's cool to see some more aspiring character modellers here.
I really like your pic of the guy in the glass tank, surrounded by futuristic stuff.
Your anatomy work's looking cool too, keep ploughing away with that stuff, and you'll have a great foundation for character modelling.
