bro that breather creature is siiiiiiiick
Decepticon217: Thank you.
DeKal: Haha, love that saying. thanks man. Those latest spray paint works of yours are really nice.
my deep stuff, ran outta time like everyone else. Learnt that I know absolutely nothing about presenting my work in this fashion. Learnt alot though, I think you really have to keep the presentation of your ideas in mind while you develop them. Not like when I'm doing ideas for a painting of my own where I scrible shit everywhere and it doesn't matter what it looks like as long as i know what it is. After all that is what this is all about communicating your concepts to other people. doing that clearly is what i really need to work on. The more I learn the more I realise I don't know, its a little daunting
Hey man, awesome work. I really enjoy your style and your Deep pieces are awesome. Thanks a lot for checking out my sketchbook and leaving a comment, it mean quite a bit coming from you. Hopefully I can someday get to your skill level, very inspiring. Looking forward to seeing more.
Dude this work http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1214876382
is kick ass!
Try to keep that type of rendering and you gona cut some heads on the deep
Love those big fishes!

holy shit, man!
that deep stuff is mindblowing. octopusdoublewoman wins.
this -> http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1214643529 awesome your rendering rocks.
deep! wooooooow ! cool=)
Untouched24: Thanks man, you'll definitly get the technical skills. It's just a metter of time, don't forget not to neglect the ideas. Its the ideas that separate people, the idea development that this site promotes so well is just as important.
Bushido: Thanks man, i like her too.
aussiedeza: Thanks dude, i did try to add some colour but it nearly killed me to get it to a presentable state before the deadline. I'm a bit precsious about that image now which is not a good thing, things get all "stiff " and awkward. I'll eventually finish it though.
kelly x: Thanks kelly, I'm not entirely happy with it all. Everyones nice comments make me feel better. And telling myself to just get over it dork!
Brun: Thanks!, nice to think my stuff might insprie someone.
algenpfleger: Thanks dude, Your rendering rocks! Your development is taking off right now. I wish I had access to a resource like this at your age.
monstertree: Thanks for the stars and the nice comments! I don't work in the movie industry btw. I have been working in a paint shop( thats house paint) but I've cut that back to part time in order to get my skills up and try to get in somewhere here. Weta workshop will be one place I'll try.
anticasper: Thanks dude.
Ok, I swear I'm glad my head is actually fully attached to my body. I totally forgot about these development sketches for the octopus woman. Partly because I didn't have a scanner when I did them about a month ago now. anyways......
woah your deep entry turned out just as good as I expected it. youmanaged to improve even octowoman...
also wanted to mention that I love the details as the lineartdrawing you put on the deep lettering and the border on the sketchpage.
definately a winner to me.
monotony: Thanks dude, I was planning alot more but you know how it goes.
Little bit of work on some tattoo ideas, I'm sure this kinda detail would hurt like hell. This is going to be a mic of celtic and Maori designs. Might put some other polynesian influenced stuff in but i dunno. I'm doing these in the old humble pencil on paper, copy and flip in photoshop.
your deep concepts are wonderful, simply enchanting. if I can say that about an octupus mask that ejaculates in my throat I can safely say I must be strange...but who cares....
I don't like your cyclops, it makes me think it belongs in a MMORPG where I can slaughter them wholesale...
People with octupus tentacle bodies are great...as is the octupus with the women lures (I'm assuming that's what they are used as?)
ok enough said, keep working and inspiring, damn...this is good stuff

Amazing, this is some of the best work I have seen for the deep.
Beautiful work, can't wait to see more.
Post again soon.
Please visit my sketchbook.
Naomi Ningishzidda: Hey Naomi, I'm paticularly glad you like my stuff. I check out your sketchbook a bit and am fascinated by your ideas. Thanks.
Ash888: Cheers dude, I'm working on all sorts so hopefully will have lots to show.
Awesome work man. The octopus with the two chicks coming out of it is EPIC. I really dig your pencil work as well, very nice tonal control.
My only criticism, or suggestion would be to push your environments, maybe do more pieces where the environment is the main interest rather than it playing second stage, or just being some sort of supporting element for a creature/character/boobeyedpenismouth tree

WOW You did this!!!!!!!!!????????
One thing: If I were you I would try to get the good results with less work. Is pretty clear that you already have reach the peak of professionality (serious sh*T). It seems to me that insted of doing greater pices perhaps you should focus in achiving the same results faster and with less effort.
ps: It seems that you always make the picture so so in your pencils and at the end they trun out marvellous with fantastic proportions and great anatomy. So that's why I guess that you may do it with some work. In any case, it's meaninless, the only thing that matters it's the final piece, and yours are awesome.
Anyway, just trying to say something else than wow.
...btw did I mention: WoW!

Cthogua: Thanks, I'm going to be doing some enviroments and mech stuff. I usually stay away from that stuff but this site is coool for pushing into things you normally wouldn't do. cheers.
lennon: Thanks, that is exactly how I've been doing my stuff, the initial drawing usually has alot of mistakes and I correct them as I go. I have only just learnt to render things like that this past month, so I kinda dwelled on that i bit much. Learning how to quickly measure, and get proportions quickly with a few lines is what I'm looking at now. I like looking at Coldrums sketchbook cause he can quickly get down the main idea with really nice lines, and once you've done that you don't realy have to go to town with the rendering of it so much.
Fanks guys I'm still learning alot and all of these comments help.
I'll be posting some sketches later today.
The octopus woman was just awesome. You really nailed that piece and by god it looks freaking sweet. I'm with Cthogua actually. I would be very interested in seeing you work on environments and maybe mechs like you said. Your creature and character concepts simply rock though. Really professional quality work from those.
aussiedeza: I've kinda gone away from that a little bit, that clean line look. Got to get that ballance, and the tattoo is really for ideas, one person has asked for a full back tattoo so that is pretty big. My girlfriend wants something small but I can choose elements and make a nice little design outta that lot. Oh I checked ouy Carlos Huantes website too since you mentioned his name in a post somewhere, It does look like I'm copying him a bit doesn't it. I had only seen some of his designs before but I had no Idea he was monster obsessed a bit like me. Well it seems like he's monster obsessed.
Trashy: Thanks dude.
I bought a new sketchbook in the weekend and a Tria brand marker pen. I got the lightest warm grey there was cause i figured i could build up values with it. I did all this cause I just love Feebs sketches. I think thats what he used anyway. You could probebly use washes of acrylic or watercolours too, but markers are pretty portable and you can get heaps of colours. Lotsa fun figuring it out.
did a little more with the tattoo, takes ages working out the weaves and then penciling stuff. I fiddelled with it in photoshop more and it looks cool inverted like its back lit or there is a light source inside it somewhere.
