Hi thanks for your comments. You are right; the eyes seem a bit too high. I yhink I can fix this by raising the top of his head a bit.
Ya the chopped off forehead is something to watch out for. Its a common construction error when drawing faces as we tend to value the facial features more and make them more prominent. Its kinda messed up when you think about it.
I need help with the second guy!!
Found some progress on him...
Finally finished Roger Waters. Wat toughie! Need to work more on those bangs
Interesting... Mason's lips look like Rick's! Kudos on Roger's nose. I only think the lips/jaw are a bit off. Looking at your work in reverse (using a mirror) can solve everything at sketch stage. Are you using gouache or acrylic? If you use acrylic you can put in a bit of Retarder (made by Golden brand) or Glazing liquid to extend drying time and blend a bit more... easier to handle the medium. And always use nice paper!
Long live PF!
Hi thanks for your comments! Indeed 'Mason's' lips look just like Rick cuz it is Richard Wright! I can understand why you might think it's the former cuz of the dark shadows around his mouth which I can see it's easily mistaken for Mason's early stache!
Yea, Roger was the hardest thus far! I'm glad the nose works cuz I thought it looked a bit broad. And his chin area does indeed look off for him lol.
I'll take heed of your recommendations! Thanks once again!
a little confusion about that.it seems a little interesting.i need more time to comprehensive this picture
Sorry for the poor quality. I'm moving on to Mason now
Almost completing Nick Mason. Ignore the digital touches though; they're just my rough sketches to show how my final drft should look like
Finally a better shot!
The final brick - David Gilmour!
A bit more to finishing the first half!
60% Completion - Pigs on the Wing (Part I)
The Wall - The Law is an Ass...
Progress: 75%! The next time I post another one would be when I would've completed it
