Hi guys, I'm doing a project with some friends about 2 dwarfs and this is the first character an innocent and generous dwarf I posted the concept on my sketchbook. So this is what the volume of the body look like. We must do this thing on 3d. So can you guy give me some feedback on my drawings to help me progress thanks. So the other character, the layout and the concept of the story are to come in the later posts.
Hey cool! Looking like a good start!
One thing your gonna want to really keep in mind is lining up the features Since these sketches are going to be used to generate a 3d model you'll be doing yourself a huge favor by getting the side and front views in particular to sync up. This means use a ruler and be sure the lines your translating features with are straight and all fall over the same point of your landmarks.
Some landmarks that I find handy to keep in mind in addition to the ones you already have noted are: the bottom of the nose, the bottom and top of the ear shape and the ball of the eye. Also make sure your heel in both views are resting on the same line. In the first and third set of images it looks like your off a little.
Hope that helps...Rock on!
...my humble and uneducated opinion.
thanks I will take your critique in consideration
