It's cool to hear more about the studies, nice work! That Sargent one at the end especially is really powerful, even in its rough state like it is. I appreciate the extra info about the moleskine. Perhaps I will get one of those in the future... I really like the sketches you're creating these days, keep it up!

no87-Thanks still not to satisfied by my art yet though. maybe thats just how it is? the continuous grind to learn and get better is what drives me further.

The Spaniard's Sketchbook... No holds barred
i'm liking your progress. you are seeing what you need to do with your
one thing i see you may want to work on is perspective. check out
andrew loomis' book called Creative Illustration (here).
perspective is in anything you draw and mainly your mechs. when you get
the perspective right, everything fits into place. same thing goes for
values in any painted piece. when the values are right, you can throw
down any color and it will look good. though there is a great deal of
color coordination that plays into effect in a good piece.
study everything. a little sketchbook is good to have anywhere you go.
the more you study the world around you, the better you brain comes to
figuring out things in your own art.
above all, if you're having fun and learning, that's what matters!
keep working hard! ;]
Quikenobi-Thanks sketchup is a very powerful porgram i have alot to learn.
no87-Cool man! ill have to check that out sounds interesting. Thanks for stopin by
Grafguy-Hey no problem and thanks for the comment bud!
jackpot_anjr90-whats up jackpot! Yeah i used to be real into shading my pencils. Now days i get to bored of my drawings and ill start a new one its one of my bad habits. Thanks for dropin by
NoodleDoodle-Anytime man! Yeah its interesting about my imagination work i used to be so into copying other artists and i always wonderd how they made this wild stuff. I always wanted to see if i could copy it exactly to see if i could be good enough to draw it. Over time though ive copyed so many artists that now its kinda like patterns to me. little peices of all the artists i liked combined into my own view of it. Well anyway something like that haha
L-DLS-Thank you yeah im still experimenting i like to do alot of abstract scribbles but i dont dare post them . I want to find a unique style and it feels that havnt reached the style that i want yet.
Hopefully more experementaion will lead me to a unique style all my own.
MattGamer-Hey whats up matt i cant thank you enough for the loomis book i feel bad for not paying for it though. Yeah perspective especially with my figures is really something i havnt even learned. As you can see i have troubles putting my figures into landscapes and so on. I will deffinalty study loomis this whole book is a gold mine of information! thank you thank you!
kingkostas-Will try and get some more 3d works done. been on the go so much latly just been sketchin in my old fashioned laptop. thanks for stopin by
Lyno- will do Lyno!

Shunya Yamashita studys
Remember that wild bird house logo i did awhile back
Heres some more work and got some pics!
It's fun to have something you made being seen by so many people right? It's a fun design too. About those char designs, i think you can tighten up the forms a little more, get some unity in there if you know what i mean. But you're doing quite well, try some more shading.
nice sketchbook man, i like your casual style and sick bike pics. i was just through Santa Fe, awesome fucking breweries there. didnt make it down to albuquerque though. anyway, keep it up man your designs are awesome.
LOL U SUCK IAM ONLY HERE CAUSE YOU TALK ME

Hey, stop calling the lame characters lame! They aren't! Both of them are better than the second none lame character. ^^ The first one jumps into the eye because of the added values.
