thanks guys. i'm STILL tweaking her design. she came up out of nowhere while i was bored but right now i'm trying to fit her into this personal project that i've been working on.
i'm currently taking viscom fundamentals 1.
I'M EASILY THE WORST IN THE ENTIRE CLASS. but i'm happy to know that i'm in good hands. *_*
i filled my fucking sketchbook and half a ream of copy paper with these HNGH LINE PRACTICES.

hehe. those line studies make my brain hurt!
the painting thing. would it not work better for experimenting with shapes and paint to start with one overall shape for the whole girl, then differentiate?
Ashess It definitely could. o: though my goal was not that as much as just to be a little less uncomfortable with not making lines and filling them in with color.
I get too timid with paint and precious with lines when i start with them. D:
I really admire your skills on various styles. Also, some of the color choises are great i think. Don' t have really anything to crit right now, but i found some of your stuff interesting. As for the CHAR girl, i personaly find the previous model more succesfull. I think that the flowers are a little bit out of the rest sketch. The pose reminded me of the G-Force anime girl btw (which is no bad or good). Keep it up!

Hey Bapsi awesome work! Real improvement, especially in that latest digi study you did, that is way ahead of the digi studies I saw in here last time. Those straight line drawings and perspective drawings are interesting... the perspective drawings practice perspective I take it, but what are those point to point line drawings supposed to do? Are you using a ruler?
Its amazing how much you've come on, seriously ... all that hard work has really come through for you.
Keep it up, but dont stop doing the studies!
Dayummm Baps! You say I've been improving? Gosh...im comparison to you, i've taken to steps, and you've run a mile!
Love it . Saved some of the pages in here, heheheh, Inspirational.
thanks guys. ;_;
cdejong I answered you on aim, but if anyone else is wondering o_o--
I did those to practice my line accuracy and line straightness. We're not
allowed to use any straight edges or curves in the course, so spending some
time to warm up before getting to work on any etudes is a must.
