Batman Caricature was Gr88
Want to see this face close up, looks great, check the shadow on her inner leg, makes the legs appear wonkie, it's the shadow, also unless she's jumping and I don't see it - her boobs are too high... love her & her environment - show the close up of her face!! Kelly
Wow, these are amazing.
I love catwoman and Indiana Jones, very nice!
Will update sometime soon.
Thanks again for the feedback. Kelly, here's a close up just for you

Beautiful pieces. I actually read in the paper this morning that Angelina Jolie is going for the part of Cat Woman in the new Batman film!
Like the first one. But a frog on her genitels, wouldn't she be a bit freaked out?
omg that Batman Caricature is sooo great. Like Batman comes to seaworld and sees a caricature booth and the rest is history. Great!!
Nice work. I really like Mother Gaia and the Nature piece. Maybe it's just the nature in me.
gardenrusalka: Thank you.
Chermilla: Thanks. Angelina would make a great Catwoman IMO, hope she grabs the part.
JustinBeckett: Thank you, had quite a fun with those, especially the lady in red
dark eagle: Thanks. Those are actually leaves in that area; It's in the shadows, so it's a bit hard to make out. I guess I could have defined them a bit more.
fizzgig: Thank you.
Kfeeras: Thank ya The caricature was a lot of fun to do, and I'm definitely planning to create more in the future.
Max Challie: Thank you. Nature's always fun to paint, because I had be very wild and loose when it comes to painting it.
Thanks again to everyone for the comments/feedback. I'm sorry I haven't updated this thread since May. The reason is due to NDA; I should be able to show off a lot of the work I've been doing later this month.
Love the colors you use and intensity of light. Like the face of Gaia.
sketches george. sketches. lets see if that bump's hard work!
The Catwoman piece is my favourite one. That just flows perfectly for me. How long did it take you to do that piece?

The Cat woman & Indie's will be my favorites

RabidArt: Thank you; I actually just updated that piece as well
bakatron: I'll open up a sketchbook thread; Soon Baka-san, soon!
thelefthand: Thank you; That piece didn't take too long, it was done in a period of 2-3 days.
psychoboy: Thank you!
danvancool: Appreciate it
GiantRibot: Thanks; This is just Step 1 of my plan to have Angelina cast as Catwoman
Skelepimp: Why thank ya
I updated this thread with some new speedpaints, in addition to updating some older pieces as well. Thanks again for the feedback and support.
Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been active as of late. It seems work has taken up a lot of my time, so I haven't had much time to complete some personal paintings. With that said, I updated the first page with a new painting, and I consider it my best work to date.
As always, feedback is always encouraged and appreciated.
Blade of Fire is very impressive, I love the sharpness in the face!
Two small crits, because of the sharp rim lighting on the head and shoulders, the edges of the sleeves look a bit neglected. I'm not saying they should necessarily catch my attention as much as the head, which is the focal point, but the sleeves just look a bit flat right now. Secondly, his shoes look a bit cartoony.
But I love the face and the pose!
Something else on the Indiana image, everything is dead on facing the viewer, and the small figure could have used more attention. Maybe a more dynamic angle taken with indiana gong towards the Aztec pyramid. Maybe some conflict, Indiana fighting off enemies or some such.

http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=192127"Everything must serve the idea. The means used to convey the idea should be the simplest and clear. Just what is required. No extra images. To me this is a universal principle of art. Saying as much as possible with a minimum of means."-John Huston, Director
I saw this Catwoman illustration in a website and I asked myself who did it!!! Beautiful colors and strokes!!!
Chagan: Thank you, those two pieces were a lot of fun to illustrate, mostly due to obvious reasons
Serpian: Thank you. You're right on with your critiques; Initially I wanted to add more wrinkles and such, but I decided not to as that wouldn't be where I'd want the attention drawn to. With that said, I do agree that the clothing is a bit under worked.
Diverse: Thank you!
OmenSpirits: Definitely agree with you there. The client was very specific in what he wanted, so I didn't have a lot options in that regard. I do agree that I could have went with something a bit more dynamic, however.
niraky: Thanks. I actually saw it as well, in a website discussing possible actors for future Bat-villains. Angelina Jolie was mention as a possibility of being cast as Catwoman. It's all part of my master plan, lol.
Thanks again to everyone for taking the time to post a feedback and critiques - very constructive and honest which I respect. With that said, I uploaded yet another image on the first page, 'Wonder Woman' (yes I'm in fan art mode, lol).
