Gladiator helmet studies from mind+photo and a photo reffed soldier (not a gladiator tho).
Refined the gladiator speedpaint!

great stuff as usual, love the environment one and the helmet designs, that soldiers helmet looks a bit tiny in his big hands though

and really great diversity you showing by now. the gladiator piece looks really good and the red sandy pit enviro looks great. if you can use the smudge tool like that you're free to use it as much as you want. haha.

206 || The torso rib cage is amazing. The emaciation evident in the shadows and the use of light is phenominal. I believe that I cannot seem to recall when I have ever crit your work, but to my understanding so far (and to the fact that I had a subscription, it must have been enough to capture my interest) that your work is distinctively dark, visceral, and grimmly pleasurable. I would love to see further developments.
