I think you could change a little bit the composition : the old woman is really in the very left bottom, but not enough to give a dynamic reading to your picture. Maybe because of this elbow which seems to be tangent again (I know I'm boring! ) and the blur you added seems to hide that not enough mastered part... But that same blur helps a lot to give the impression of breath or wind on her. Maybe you've just make it too much the same on the different plans of the composition, which deserves the whole effect? There is probably something to check here...
And about the sex joke : haha! xD You're right, but well... who knows? Maybe old women who live in a dead forest have fantastic libido? Hahaha! Oh lala as you say!
Late-man, I got rid of the noodle and it looks quite nice, thanks!
Clochette Riding with Lady Luck,This one is trying to get lucky? LOL to you!! Tra la la... Thanks and looking at all of the smoke I lost the horizon line and now you can't see that I actually did quite a bit of elbow work on this piece - and now that I am looking again, she needs some more work. Thank you and had to see through your eyes, mine are kind of tired - so maybe tomorrow I'll pick up where I left her.

Hi and hello, - seems like this took forever and a day. Thank you for the help!!! Crits still open for examination and exploration.
But I have to start something new in my head now...
Clochette = Thank you for the support and corner advice, still going in to do more on the cloak and tree when I have a breather - Your Mickey Mouse piece is the bomb!!
Lateman, thank you for the paint over! it was key to this woman sticking around, I was so frustrated she almost got deleted at one point! I'm glad you like it.
you blew me away with that last one!
From sexy hot babes to spooky old women...
kinda like real life eh?
seriously though...the background looks so good!
and the way you painted her face, I feel her clammy, cold flesh just by looking at her!
btw..yes, I did design the costume in that piece you were asking about in my SB.
Your SB rocks harder!

awesome sb you got here, i like your colors a lot, and the texture on the old ladies skin is insanely realistic. keep up the good work.
To live is to create, to create is to live. Without art and music, I do not know how I would get by in my day to day life.
Fantabulous sketchbook miss!
Thanks for stopping by mine too
impressions – the light in this picture has a very clear quality, and i like how the sky is rendered out with such grave intention. there's a lot of powerful, dramatic energy up there. the composition of the sky and the land feels to be focussing the swirling environment back towards her face. it feels as if she is almost causing the disruption mentally. as the figure has more detail than the background this effect is amplified a bit. it reminds me of a peculiar experience i have everynow and then. i love it when i'm feeling really stressed and frightened and the weather seems to be augmenting or matching that emotion. Maybe i'm low on funds and hungry, and the city is 100% cold grey smoky smog with piercing knives of clear white light? strange experience that, but of course it does happen. it's like being in a film noir movie... maybe struggling against some deadline or having to make difficult decisions or something. i'm rambling. i like this painting!
anyways and more generally speaking, impressive working style here... it seems like you are extremely confident with colors and rendering methods, which is a huge part of the struggle to make good art. will hit ya back up through the email. so happy to make your acquaintance!
cout<mecha = Thank you your input means a lot to me... perhaps... at a loss for words!
Angry F = "From sexy hot babes to spooky old women...
kinda like real life eh?" I really don't think life works to this extreme, maybe this to this? ??? But thank you for the compliments and the skin comment is great!!! That's what I was trying to get out of this one.
thesadpencil = You've got some good stuff happening in your SB too! thanks work work work that goes for all of us and the comment is well taken on the skin, so much thanks!!
bleupencil = I have your animation stuck in my head for sure - this will take you above all!! Love animation! A total freak for it!
guggemmaneuver = I will use some of your words to put as a poem for this piece, may I quote you?? This is actually the first comment that may make me cry! And the feeling is mutual! I am so very glad to meet you as well... Hit me up ASAP.
287 || The cave piece seems to beg to become more compelling, a more immediate sense of danger. The figure however is real nice and the claws can stay but amp it up a few hundred notches.
Ask yourself: what creature lurks in the cave? is she going to survive?
I think this piece has much potential...ooohhh, im shivering with excitement.
super sexy buns and guns, meow grrr... grrrr. to super spooky praying old lady, eeek.. as beautiful as the sun set and devastation is behind the old lady, it does come off a little uneven composition wise. Great work though, significant improvements from beginning to end. One more meow for the for the guns and buns.. I like!!
Wow, you aced the old person, you're getting really good!
As for the cave girl, the claws don't really look as claws at this point, I'm not sure about them staying or not but I think you definitely have to put something there since she's shielding herself... Hmm...
Kelly!!! I peek in after all this time? Shame on me!!! I looked at that old woman picture, and WOW!!! It's like I can feel her wrinkles, and as someone else described, her clamminess of her skin!! She looks both frail and powerful!
I suggested some things in the G forum, so I shan't repeat them, but I can't wait to see what you do with this latest picture!! Great stuff!!
f1guremeout, thank you for the input, I do need to think about these things, the cave, the sense of urgency an ominous figure, I'm re working this one like crazy and really want it to be a good piece!! Keep looking and you have great input always.
Carnal, I have more guns/gals to come soon had to take a break and do some scene work, very new to this so it does not surprise me if the composition is a little tweaked/out ... why? and how could I make it better?? I would love to know and if you stop back tell me please.
Solar power, Thanks and please I totally need and want any crits.. this one is a struggle but aren't they all?? I'll give you wine and cheese?
Whistler, Thanks and I know Hmmm...
