Quality anatomy studies, my friend. They have a lot of weight and meat.
The illustrator pieces buzz my brains a little, but are very cool. The painting portrait is great too, you maintain a cultured line, although still rather loose. Thats something I have yet to achieve. I either do messy stuff, or careful line stuff. I wish I could combine the two more effectively.
Awesome sketchbook, I love how well sculpted your figures are. Thanks for sharing!
more from life !
Really nice studies man! Happy to see your formula working well! Oh and in answer to your question in my sketchbook, right now I have to just be animating for 2 weeks solid. So more figure studies will come after that, promise! Keep up the great work!
i draw from live, but from a diffrent perspective.
Life drawing is just a tool that you use to add life to your drawings
By means of checking the portions and poses of the body.
It is more important to learn how to draw the bones The how to put muscle on them then skin.
And what I discoverd is that once you lay the muscles on , skin is just drapery over it and the closer the muscle is to the bone , the deeper the skin goes.
This one feels good to look at: http://conceptart.org/forums/attachm...1&d=1208811022
I want to bounce up to the heavens on it.
