Fetsch danke man
sooooooo. exams are over and i got vacations again - finally.
THAT MEANS 10 DAILY UPDATES - yay
my main goal is to learn as much as i can ... how to draw figures and faces mostly, cause i think i lagg there the most - i guess these basics need to be done. no i want
i'm going to draw alot from other artists, not to copy them but to learn from them ! so why not combine these things?! drawing the things i love to look at while learning from them...
anyways, from today, day1
a warmup enviro fail - will do more landscapes afterwards, promise : [
sketches to see what my mind struggled the most with
hogarth and photo
and a character , one per day is the plan
see you tomorrow YAY

sweet man : ) its a great idea to draw from other artists, done my fair share of that and it really took my understanding of how other people work and solve problems one step further. : )
also, cool sketch pages, keep it real dawg. .. : )
looking for freelance work & commissions!
Nice progress. Don't know why I didn't stop by here sooner. Really liking the environments.
I really like the colors of the last enviro!
tja88 thanks man your last master copy is too insane btw D:
Two Listen hehe but you can keep stopping by from now thx !
empyrean glad you dig that
Virg wtf mister white thanks mate
so, from today, day 2
started with some poses- these show me what areas i'll tackle tomorrow
the character of the day, tried sth different hehe, but didn't go into rendering
heads from head, argh, i guess these couldn't be learnt in just one day ^^ ...and need to draw them bigger
and some marco heads .... more heads to come
Impressive progress, technique, fantasy and drive! You are really hitting off those studies.
I envy your drive, good work!
so, from today, day 4
men, from head mostly - it seems like its most important to slow down while drawing heads ! thinking seems to be the key...uh what a suprise :p
digi heads, grahh, i wanna do these without help D:
and a half a3 page of men heads from a magazine - cause the other half sucks even more haha

Stuff looks really great in here man would definitely recommend doing lots of drawings from Loomis' Drawing Heads and Hands, really helped me so far when it comes to drawing heads in all different angles. Keep up the amazing work load
your not wasting time !! Its getting cold here so ill need to get into that habit again of drawing non stop each day in a sketchbook !! You should try getting more color harmony in your enviros, you seem to include a lot of hues , try sticking your colors together to help blend all the elements together. I often use the image \ adjust \ variations
in photoshop, and then adjust stuff on top of that. Careful with the sharpen too , you should always keep a layer without the sharpen and mask the sharpen in some areas to dose it properly, otherwise you tend to end up with something that looks compressed and flat .. that knight is kickass, i like the edges quality it !
Holland sounds great ! thanks
Soultek cool ! thank you
Virg haha white yay you should definetly burn though it but yeah you are right, i really should keep an eye on my pallette and limit my sharpen! thank you very much my friend
LAL i'm glad to hear that ! cookies for you !
Lyno hehe didn't expect that. thanks mate
Deodatus yay ty! i'll do my best !
so, less from today, day 7

So I clicked on your sketchbook last night, went to sleep, got up, continued to have a look, realised the stuff was two years old so I clicked to the last page to see how much you'd improved, and...
Your improvement has been amazing. So much? In two years? WoW!
Loving the landscapes, as well. I don't suppose you have any links to landscape resources at all? (Alas, I haven't looked through the full thirty pages!)
Alas, I don't have concrit, but I'll be lurking in here occasionally.
(RIP desk lamp!)
Umbravita uhh a great feeling hehe ! thanks so much for your warm words sure i can :p -> these for instance are amazing sites ! : http://www.terragalleria.com/index.html + http://pbase.com/ oh yeah, poor lamp gonna buy a new one soon, cause its hard to see for now haha ! CYa !
so, from today, day8

getting quicker while doing lamer stuff argh D:
and some sketches... bye, i'm going to do more of these yet, cause i suck haha...but not for long... you'll see :>
oh and i did some loomis again, its not worth showing and i'm not in the mood managing the whole camera thing again (hihi), BUT feels like it helps tons everytime ;p
Wow. I haven't checked your SB for quite a while. Great improvement! Absolutely loving the colors in your environments, especially in post #873
aiRaGe yay man welcome back ^^ thank you for your words! thats it what keeps me motivated
so, from today, day9
here'r some quick characters so check out what my mind saved with those faces, actually i did these after during some more penicls studies today again
and , tada, an ironic chow attempt - although i wont take it any further haha
That knight study is gorgeous, damn! I think it'd be cool if you showed a bit more character and "life" in your portrait studies, make them look more like people you could imagine meeting instead of just drawings. I don't quite know how to say it. xD
But keep it up! Everything is looking damn fine!
