Yeah Rami I am still looking into the animal thing and will be for a while. I notice a lot of people dreaming up animal and I can see the nuance from real animals anatomy but I can see that the structure is incorrect. I'm to avoid making those types of errors so that I can have more fun when I'm in the planning stages. Nevertheless, I've been working on some 3D animals including the wolf in this post for an animation piece.
Who LET THE DOGS OUT! WOOT! WOOT! WOOT!
Made in Lightwave 9.6
Also posting a textureless render of the model of the Mikoyan Russian fighter and another pic to test my anatomy skills! Enjoy!
BAD TO THE BONE!

Thought I'd post my updates regarding my stint into the world of Dojinshii.
SECRET OF DOJINSHII
MAGIC OF DOJINSHII
ANATOMY OF DOJINSHII
Hopes you like!
Magic of dojinshi is looking pretty good. Your color theory seems to be getting less arbitrary and more deliberate. Keep it up dude!
Thanks for stopping by again Batcustard. You are doing some really killer work over there. I appreciate your opinions, compliments, rants, whatever! Just wanted to post some more animal studies! I hope you like them and are inspired. More soon!
AGAIN WITH THE 3D WOLVES
AWRIGHT GIES I'll CHECK YA!
Thought I'd take a break from the Dojinshii stuff and post something different based on the phenomenon of freerunning. -love this sport! It has so much potential, maybe even could be introduced to the Olympics. That might liven things up a bit. Imagine springy suits for jumping not swimming!
Oh Yeah! KoolAidMan!
Been about down under the weather the last week, sont ask me why but still managed a few new ideas out here. So here goes. Hopes you enjoy. Questions conmments go in the big grey box below. Still working on the wolves a bit!
NEW Androgynous 3D rock star......working on a character that will be a kind of futuristic anime personality. This is the first version made in 3 days. Boy? Girl? I don't usually have this problem!!!^&*() hehe!
New Art: Cray Twins
-Found a funny old pic of my uncles just standing around on a basketball court and decided it was cannon for a new pic. Kind of reminded me of those old 70s exploitation films...

Did more work on the rig for the superstar andro character. It's moving pretty good, just need to TWEAK! Churned out another illus in this urban type style. Also more animals. Starting to do the primates NOW!
New Art: POW WOW!-wanted to slip into reality with this one and talk about some real issues. Thought about the Tea Party's recent activities and remembered that these are some of the wealthiest yet angriest people in the country. Seated here are a few innocents being questioned by a disgruntled citizen out for justice!
we eat monkeys!
tastes just like squirrel monkey...
OK so still doing the observations on the side and improving my animal skills. I finally figured out how to get my pad to be pressure sensing when I install it. I know DUMB RIGHT!?? So now I'm able to fool around with animation much easier in the P to the S! Also included some old sketchbook scans from the industrial music time circa 91. Here goes...
Patas Monkeys: coolest monkeys around...
The Protected Langur Monkeys of Vietnam!!!
OLD SKETCHBOOK REAVEALED!
Made a bit of an animation of this first one when I was in animation school involving an examination table some ghostly doctors and one pissed off cadaver with a gun. The other one shall forever be static...sigh. cAn you tell I did these with an old school scratchy type ink pen?

Though your animal studies are good, but as I said before, your color choices are hell on the eyes. Lay off those neon colors for a while and try some more realistic ones similar to many of those animal studies. On the other hand, those black and white sketches remind me of H. R. Giger and what he did for Alien.

i really liked those oldschool inkpen monster having some kind of "exchange of grooving" on desolate planet surface, golden man.
Crazy overkill for colours, all i can say do more, the secret of dojinshi (did i write that right) made me laugh, aLSO colourz on the secret of dojinshi image are clearly in better direction (one with girl and tree backround)
truut truut space monster signing out of duty, sir

Man, you are NOT afraid of color and that is awesome! You got a real feeling for it and it shows, especially in your animal sketches. So, are you going to the local zoo and doing some studies?
I like exploitation movies too! Check it out. All you need to add to it is a caption, " Don't mess with the cout, SUCKA!" heh heh, sorry man, I couldn't resist.
I don't know if you remember but my screen name used to be "Danuh". Your stuff has improved SO MUCH since I last saw your sketchbook! So great, I look forward to more!
first sketch in 248 is so good dude. It looks like you are really growing.
Busy working on games and other figures. I just moved and have been out of touch with the kushi. Feeling tires as we just leaped from our home to a new branch. It's a new environment, like a canary cage. I'm busy discovering the fun for you. Here are some highlights other than working with Unity and Blender(both freewares) to do some gaming stuff. I'll post those pics later.
Seraph-sorry bout the colors, my eyes have been behind tinted lenses for the last five years or more. I've just got new ones and hoping my eyes will adjust backward to the clear ones. Anyway, we'll see how these colors shape up in the coming months.
Hey Nettle-Space monster or no thanks for stopping by. Yep, thanks for reminding me of how much fun itis to work with color. I've been reading texture mapping materials recently so may it cross over...
Wheeljack-Thanks for the compliments, yeah I saw Black Dynamite about that time. That was a good one. Oh how I would love to go to the zoo.
Daynuh!-You are so cool, I wish I could be you. You are probably doing some slammin work at that school! I always hope to improve and impress Dana!
Batz-glad you are diggin the Tapas monkeys. I need to get back to the animals.
Here we go!
THought I'd keep itrolloing with another SB dump this time as I am involved in some demo reel stuff at the moment. Keepitsimple.

These are some frames I did while I was at SAIC finishing up with animation. No one knows when I will complete this project but sometime in the future! Happy Holidays and all that jaaaaazzzzz!
SERIES OF 22 ANIMATION DRAWINGS
That mouth kinda sneaks up on ya! Heehee!
Some have already mentioned of your jarring colours. I think it's great that your going for these interesting colours schemes, but it would definitely be beneficial to study up some some colours theory to make better choices. Eccentric colour schemes can still be harmonious.
I pieced together those animation drawings of yours coz' I wanted to get a better a look.
I would say the tentacle movements are a little too erratic. Always keep in mind the arcs and rhythm of movement. The bulk of the 'body' is jittering quite a bit, subtle movement is hard, take care with the spacing of lines.
HK-Nice to hear you are putting the peices to tegether! Thought I'd scan those in and see what it looked like. I wanted to absorb the technique I was using, steampunk style! I hope your Holidays are going well. Morethananything, just going through the motions with that one. It turned out interestingly, though there are only a few frame rates at which it's completely appropriate. The slower the overall object moves seems to
dictate the universality of it's ability to be seen at any frame rate.
Sean M-Thanks for the snacks man! I appreciating the the props as well. I hope you stick around!
I loaded these up today for fun. Since I only posted 21 frames last time instead of 22. Here are 19 more of them.
HAPY HOLYDAYS Y"ALL!
Working on a few different things since the domo reel was finished. Looking at a bit of architecture as well as some motion files which I have begun to make videos of. They will be a great reference for animation and I will post them on one of my YouTube accounts. It'll be worth a peek as there are 1000s of files full of the recorded actions of humans. Meanwhile some older art collecting dust.
This is a poster for the demo reel...
still love you!
Working on some house designs for a simulation. I concerned about the overall style and mix of house types as well as the structure of the house. I've drawn a few so that I'll be be able to refine the look of the neighborhood. Anyways, I know there should be more. Got those cramps in ma HANd after 8 or 9 of em!!!
HOME Tweet HOME!
Using my Lightwave skills lately to work on some representations of some houses in a virtual world. This is just one of the designs that went wrong! It'll take a bit more practice to get the homes right, otherwise, FORCLOSURE! Of course this is probably building up to something in Unity. I don'r know what...
Wow. This sketchbook is bursting with creativity. It's rare to find some people on this forum totally devoted to animation, especially pushing into more personal style of animation.
I especially like your mech designs. Latest studies are pleasure to watch too. When doing line drawing, try to push the variety in line weight. It adds some life and dimension to drawing. You got that a bit in your rhino sketches - http://attachments.conceptart.org/fo...5&d=1281247816
In some illustrations the acid colors are a little bit too much for the eye. I would first focus on making values to make the image more readable.
Thanks Farve! Hoping to do some of those animal sketches as I did not finish the book I was working with. Maybe this summer will be like the last! As far as line weights goes, I'm an animator first and stylist second. I know different effects can enhance the pics but I'd like to get past that first hurdle of familiarity of subject matter. I do hope you continue your animations as well!
SCREENSHOTS OF GAME
DESIGN FOR TRANSFORMATION
Been doing a bit of sketching for practice on characters on the side while programming, animating, and basically doing everything for this game(s) I'm working on. Got some neat pictures of my programming experiments gone WILD! But for now, just a few peoples.
That;'s all for now, be back with some 3D stuff later. Concept is a good place to be in the summer I think eh?!
More from the sketchbook! Just got my tablet back from the manufacturer. We were in negotiation for months on that thing. Now I'll have to test it out again on some animation right!?
Promised I'd show some abstract stuff in future updates. Only this is from Lightwave. The other bunch is a lot of stuff and don't feel like uploading it just yet so here's some more. Ideas for an animation...
There's a ton of good stuff in this sb since last I visited. Took me awhile to get through it all.
I particularly like your house designs from post #263 and many of your character studies. And, of course, I'm really enjoying all the animal studies.
Some of the landscapes from awhile back are really interesting to look at--I especially like the sequence of images on page 7(from the warp tunnel).
Thanks for droppin by Ex, wish more people would speak when they stop over from their flights! Any case, wrapped up teh mecha GAME demo. Hope you had a chance to play for a few minutes! i love critiques and feedback!
My plan is to get back with the animals a little bit this summer. I don
t regret spending time getting to look at the different structures at all. Also considering doing some animation tutorials for concepters.
The tunnel thing has been around awhile since I made the animation in 09. Been doing some spritual research concerning Sacret Geometry and other religious pilgrimmages to Wiki. These are some landscapes I've been programming in the last few months. Figured I'd do a dump! ENJOY as always...

Ain't posted for some time now and it's high past due. Took some time a few weeks back to spend some time with our distant cousins in the ape family. Just a few shapes and put the grins on the faces! Thanks for droppin in, its been ans.
The animals are attacking the cities!!! Yaaaaaaaarrrrgh!
