More contrast between the figure and background in the first one would be good. Also, the wings look like they're in a totally different picture.

Nice Topf. I would recommend that you show some of her capabilities by bending a bit more than a few pebbles. Apart from that i think their great.
Oh and her right leg looks a bit too bent.
Nice! Love the full figured beauties.

Nice style, love the dancing girl and the pumpkin head.
For the guy with the raised finger, the finger is too short.
i love the shape of all your characters and how they pretty much run the gammut of body types.
GREAT LOOKING CHARACTERS! love the proportions and gesture! and checked out the homepage link and then blog. I trust times are better... none the less its usually those that've been tested the most that make that strongest mark(s). And your's got lasting power no doubt!
Hey again. Thanks alot for all the comments. I seriously appreciate em all. Here's a few more.
keep it ill.
I really like what you have going here JR. Post more when you can!!
Hey I really dig your style! I check out your blog every once in a while and you have some great personality to your characters. Keep it comin!
Hey everybody. i appreciate all the comments! thanks alot, seriously.
Here's a couple recent things. A quick one of Earthworm Jim and a concept for a 3D model of a washed up Wolverine.
-keep it ill-
Love the wolverine one, but I think you missed an opportunity to show more character with action. It would be great to see him using his claws for some mundane or disgusting purpose, like cutting his toenails or as a bottle opener.
great style, really nice stuff
just a few more concepts.

As a jester, I HAVE to comment on your jesterman! He's the shiznit!
I really really love your style generally. I don't know If you're having as much fun as it seems, but your work is uplifting!!!!
hmmmmm love all of it
Awesome characterizations, they each have a nice drawn quality underneath the digital magic, I'll be keeping an eye on this thread . . . .
What program are you using to paint these? Some feel like painter, some feel like photoshop.
illustratorwayne: thanks for the support. i appreciate it.
TheJester: Coming from a jester, that's high praise. I actually just started having fun again. for awhile it was at that point where it became stressful. . .being more a means to survive, rather than just art.
Gavin Hargest: Thanks alot. i've always tried to keep my lines visible, but i think i might start painting completely over them.
Bai Fan: I use strictly Photoshop. my simple pc can't even handle painter.
I really like the earthworm jim.
I really like your style and lighting! Keep'em coming!
