Man you guys are freakin scary talanted!
So in that spirit here are a few new things. Rock on!
First some fantasy/sci-fi stuff.
A sketch for another, lookin forward to finshing it in the next couple of weeks.
Psyched to report my frist kids book Twinkle is out!
Y'all may reacall a few of these animal drawings from last year. Well there are like 50 of them coming out in a book called Animals Anonymous (Simon and Schuster) this summer. The cool thing is I got to design the whole book, and I made it look like a high school notebook! Illustrated the whole thing in Ball point pen. So fun after years of oil and pixels!
It hits in July.
And finally. Damn I love me some Datsuns! So i had to draw one!
And with that I will give y'all's eyes a rest!
And for thoshe who are asking 'Who the hell is Scott Fischer?" I still ask myself that question. But here are a couple links to my earlier art threads.

Very nice! Great to see new stuff from you. I dig the art nouveau stylings in the first few. Cool seeing your wip sketch too...
God damn scott, I think I love you. The first two paintings are a step up... the elements of digital and traditional feel more unified and polished without looking too polished.
Congrats on the children's book!
Did you get my email I sent a couple of days ago?

Nice post and some great work.
The only pic that bugs me is the Batman piece - where is his hand going?
my sketches here... http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=92997
www.sevans.co.nz , visit them or a puppy dies!
So cool stuff it hurts. Although the shrimp pimp's nose is prolly one of the top 10 most disturbing things I've seen here for some reason.
Your work has been a massive inspiration since I started painting, some of your Magic paintings in particular were great when I studied. I love the way you achieve that layered feel in your coloured art, very bombastic and powerful. And while I love the soft colour nuances that, say, Mark Zug employs, it's a relief to see some robust, unafraid colouring too.
Thanks for all the inspiration, and keep posting!
wow. the expression on the redheads face is beautifully communicative. was it reffed?
Wonderful stuff Scott... I particularly like the 'Animals Anonymous' book. great idea to go for the notebook look! And must've shaved off some time in production...?
And i'm a sucker for stylized classic cars, so i want me a 'Ratsun'!
No crits whatsoever. Saw the stuff in other thread - it´s almost bejeezier, although the backgrounds are less cluttered in these - which I like.
Scott! seeing it all in one shot is overwhelming my friend. you have been kicking butt in 2007 and I'm afraid to get in your way for 2008.
Scott: musician, painter, children's book author, sculptor, story teller, husband, father, good friend, the list goes on... and you do it all so well!
Great stuff man! I absolutely love the style in the first 3. THe others are great as well and i expecially like the animal drawings. such clean linework. very cool stuff.
Looking for other Denver area artists!
My Scribbles - Take a peek
Wow! All of them are so nice! I like your usage of watercolours (or whatever you used; they look like awesome watercolour to me hehehe). I really like the detail you put in the red-head girl's hair. But I think I like the Batman one hehehe.
wow dude great stuff!!U have quite a great imagination!!!
pld: NEED CRITIQUE! But BEWARE your Eyes might BLEED OUT of YOUR eye SOCKETS <---cause I really suck and haven't done shit pld:
My Sketch Book!
Wow Fisch, great work! I've long been a fan of how you combine design elements with realistic and dynamic subjects.
I dig it all, but I find Grim Space particularly evocative.
Fantastic stuff. Thanks.
Great paintings as usual, Scott. We bought Twinkle a while back and the kids really dig it. The fold-out in the center was cool and really neat to see the song/story from two points of view.
But on to PIMP SHRIMP! OMG! Simon and Schuster children's division is putting that out? Did I read that correctly where it says "It's all about the bling-bling and the ho's and the fast cars"? Wow, that is, um, kinda scary.
From twinkle, twinkle to pimp shrimp, you got it all covered ;-)
You know I always love your work fishhead, that's for posting more.
great stuff, and ye, the redhaired girl is really awezome
Lovely, Lovely animals! Pimp Shrimp?! Oooh Baby The hippo is just delicious too!
Awesome work, sir
Really really nice work Scott. And cool book design on top of the sweet illustrations. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Man, I got your works on my D&D 3.5 manual, and I watched for hours. Really glad to find you here!
The works on this thread are awesome. Faces are strongly emotional, as usual.
Thanks for sharing Scott.
