cool work so far keep the updates coming.
on the last few heads I think the eyes are a little big on average, but the structure as a whole is pretty solid.
just keep sketching everyday and update!

I looked at the first couple of pages of your thread and the last couple of pages and I have to say you've made an awesome improvement. Like everyone's said just keep drawing, practicing anatomy, drawing from life and all that and you'll probably be a pro by the time that you're twenty
Good luck and keep drawing, see you in massive black in a few years time.

Your awesome advices will be very much appreciated
hey girl, let's give you some crits ! You should put the cast shadow of the character on the floor ! It seems like she's floating in the air, not touching the ground ! 2 : i find there is too much white on your picture, it kills the light, and it doesn't give a sense of light anymore, it's more about blobs of colors, putting too much white kills the harmony of the light. 3 : your anatomy knowledge seems a lot better ! Now you could get a level forward by adding some perspective to the figures, even slightly. 4 check out the color temperature ! Here, you seems to have a cold light, so the shadows would be warmer ! Here, you're using the same temperature on the whole illustration,
So, to sum up : less white, the light would be just little blobs of really light values, put shadow on the floor, add a bit of perspective to the figure, and work a bit more on color temperature . I think that's all i can say for now, i'm looking forward to see more !
Hello , whats up Nibras ? nice to see you keep fighting with passion. You are improving a lot so keep it up!!!
here my critique and thoughts
Adding to some of the helpful crits from others, the first thing I noticed was the overall lighting. It was something mentioned before but it might help to see it put into action. Since there are two strong light sources, one of which has an arm blocking the light, such an area usually gets quite hot/dark depending on the material. Since its cloth, there might be light even shining through the fabric which would definitely need some referencing. It may have needed some more focus on the character through cutting away at the space in the corners using the rocks to your advantage, a little cropage, and keeping her a little more detailed than the BG. For armor, when light hits it, generally theres a strong brightness followed by and an extreme dark right next to the lit area.
Ive done an overpainting of some of the critiques I wrote. Also I drew in another pose idea in red.
Im still learning to paint myself but I hope I've helped in some way.
i think you have a little problems in (motions) human motion positions, my advice to you to have an still camera and act the moves you need & make some one take a shot for you , bu this way you can have a huge library of moves you can use it in your practice works
with my best wishes & bright future in ART.
niiibrasss it's good to see updates again why are you always AFK like for months or something? keke jkjk
that's an interesting concept on the last character-- sorta reminds me of x-men's Storm i would take heed on king's crit-- very helpful (i know, i'm useless at critiques) but all i can say is keep studying and i look forward to another update! :3
its not so bad, character design is awesome but like what everyone has already said movement and pose is an art in itself. keep pushing yourself. great work!
Hey guys, thank you for the crits I really appreciate them. The paint-overs from léJeanX3 and kingkostas are so useful, I love you guys for them.
I've finished my exams! Feels so good because they took so much energy, time and preparation. With no school work I am now free to just do art which is great, it's brilliant to be able to get back into it. That was the reason for my long absence though, so now I can just draw and update.
HOWEVER I've broken my tablet since I've finished exams I've been tablet-less and trying to make money to buy a new one. If you guys can help my advertise for commissions at all I'd really appreciate it. I am doing some over on my new Deviantart account:
Just some stuff till I get more scanned, it's soooo time consuming
Went to the gallery here and there was a Sargent painting so did a quick 40 min sketch of it:

A rough first trial graphite sketch for the self portrait:
A self portrait, this is what my time after finishing exams has gone into. It's an A1 piece drawn from life and ref. Biggest I've ever worked and there's some proportion errors with the face. It was also done using only big graphite sticks so that was definitely a learning curve as graphite is just terrible haha. Around 14 hours I think:

Ahh your the same age as me and you can do digital art! Why does everyone know about digital art except me? Am I cursed ? hahaha JK. Nice sketchbook btw. And you have my vote for working at Massive Black
Hey, nice work. This is a great sketchbook as, (sadly I couldn't view all 55 pages whilst at work but) it shows fantastic progression. Keep posting, making art and having fun!
Ven S: Thank you
thegrayslayer: Thanks slayer
I am going to try and keep this constant. Just spent all day drawing but I think it needs to be a bit more focused. It's all poor right now but hopefully I'll build it up
The attachment manager gives me nightmares

I could not for the life of me figure out what your "an aksel" was. And then I did it anyway.
Damn, I'm awesome.
