Ludic Hey thanks man!
takashmen Thank you!
As always thanks a bunch for your support and comments/critiques everyone, especially those familiar faces I see in here all the time, means a lot. Apologies if I don't get the chance to visit all of your sketchbooks, but I try to stop in every once in a while and see how everyone is doing. Here's a morning study before getting started on freelance!
damn dude your skills are amazing
Fantastic study Jasper! It looks like a grainy photo (in a good way - not sure if it reads that way! you'll have to take my word for it!).
Anywho, that's my input for now, more to come and I look forward to the same from you in the form of more great updates!
Very nice book; finally got a chance to check it all out. You have a solid understanding of the fundamentals and your colors are coming along well.
You also have the ability to create good pieces that emote.
I think sometimes proportions get away from you, but you've shown the ability to do tight drawings when needed.
Keep up the great work! 5 stars.
prsnsweeney Hah thanks bro!
Ludic It's going alright man! Really pleased with the way some of the illustrations are coming, it's a shame I'll have to wait so long until I can show them. Just means I gotta to more personal work, right? Thanks!
MacTire Awesome man, thanks for stopping by!
Caspia Thank you! I figure'd I would experiment.
p sage Thanks very much for the comment man! I'm still finding issues in those proportions, but every issue found is an issue solved, right?
Yor Thakns a lot man, loving your work lately too!
hücumkedi Thanks a bunch man!
Here's a study from life, low natural lighting. I tried to capture a few details and things that I usually leave out in this one, like the subtle textures on the wallet and the pattern on the cup. Thanks for checking things out everyone! Oh yeah! I'm also a semi-finalist in the RIft design a colossus competition, it's awesome! http://news.deviantart.com/article/154445/
When I saw this cool creature I was wondering, how it would eat and if it's eyes are above or under the top sphere...
Sorry for posting a drawing in your sketchbook - but I am very interested in this creature and how it would move. What did you have in mind? Where does it open its mouth? Like in fig. 1 or 2 or 3 or another solution?
Awesome work for the Rift challenge, congrats on getting to the semi finals : ) great studies as well, all looks pretty pro!
@Surus That is a tentacool :l Have you never seen pokemans! O:
The texture of that leather wallet, just...wow. And great sketch studies too ^^ Good luck on the Rift contest.
Jasper I'm going to bookmark your sketchbook because its so lovely

Curse you and your superior skills! I feel like a lazy looser now that I''ve looked through your thread again. Thankfully, due to said superior skills I am now an inspired lazy looser! So thank you
Really great work! I especially love the step-by-step from page 24. And the bird drawings and paintings. And your technique in general. Aaand... yeah. Thanks for all the inspiration again!
