hücumkedi Thanks man, I'll double check the reference!
greyskill Hey man I appreciate the kind words!! Thanks for stopping by!
NITISH KUMAR Thanks! I don't spend as much time drawing as I would like, certainly, but usually I try to get in at least 10 minutes on the bus ride to class. When I'm not worried about school I have much more time to spend on studies, either digital or pencil.
NickyBeats Haha thanks man! I died when I saw that video, I couldn't believe it.
Ok, about to pack everything up tonight so I can do some serious driving back to school in the morning. Not looking forward to it too much, school has been pretty lame lately...barely enough time to work on studies and portfolio work which is what I feel is top priority right now. Meh. Here's a sketch before I close up this laptop. Comfort zoooooooone.
Wow. Your skill level is advanced. I enjoy seeing how you play with ideas and execute the pieces. Impressive and scary in one so young.
Image on the last page called Happiness, is complete badassery!
Please finish and post wallpaper size perhaps?
m8y Thanks man! I will try to!
Yor Thanks dude!
PHATandy Thanks a lot buddy dig what you've been throwing around in your sb too!
Partisan That's a very generous compliment man, he is a master of his craft! I actually had him in mind as I was working on it.
AztcFireFlower Thanks so much for the compliment, means a lot, you're one of the best around here.
Back at school again, adjusting to classes and trying to adjust to fit in class work. No big projects yet and no freelance at the moment, so until then, study time! Ilya Repin!
EDIT: Done in photoshop, btw Can't use painter for the life of me

i love how you get the painted feel in photoshop. a lot of the time you can tell its a digital painting (not with your work ) and i have always admired artists who can render in ps and have it appear like oils.
great stuff mate!
the portrait is amazing really.. hope i can render like you one day
my Sketchbook plz help me become a better artist !

MarcSampson You will!! Just keep practicing!!
NickyBeats Thanks man. Haha yeah I've played with painter for a few years now, I can never completely leave behind my photoshop painting methods. Maybe when I've got some free time to dick around and not worry so much about trying to get commissions.
Here's a quick sketch, some creatures from a book series that I'm finding awesome!!
I've seen this sb plenty of times, but the recent stuff is looking particularly sweet. I like your linework, it has such confidence to it. Something I'm desperately striving for these days myself.
I had no idea that you could employ the smudge tool in PS like that, to give a more painterly look. I'll definitely try that myself, so thanks for the tip.
No crits from me- Just keep on racking up those posts and stars and helping us learn!
Absolutely beautiful paintings. Keep this work up man, I like stopping by to look at it. Yay for good art!
This is inquisitor from Mistborn?
Hey Jasper, I'm honored to know that you followed my blog. Your improvement and stuff is seriously impressive. I can't wait for school to let out so I can get back in to figure drawing and play some catch up. (that sounds backwards, doesn't it?)
