Thanks heaps everyone... Sorry been really busy lately, I'm going to comment on everyone's SB and generally check up on what awesomeness has been happening in them once things free up some more.
Had a few minutes however to sketch this guy before bed... 4:30am and vision's blurry from sleepiness though, so gonna sleep now Night.
That is so sweet.
I'm not really an animator, just trying to do a small project, which is taking forever to finish but it needs to be finished by the end of this year come what may.
I really love yer bright and light whimsical creations...and it's great to see you using that gift regularly!
Loving the Viking guy (of course!) and Gus too. "Animal" cracked me up!
The last one feels like a slight departure from your usual style...but that's REALLY good to see too.
Keep 'em coming!!
great stuff matey. i love the narrative work, you have a real knack for that!
Wow, that daxter is really great. It captures his attitude really well.
And yeah...he doesn't look to grim...just a lil gaunt around his face!
Lovin the Daxter fan art...lotza life in that pose and expression!
Been working away on Kadlin from earlier... The red things in this video are legendary climbing gloves she's after. And the cliff is kind of the antagonist, a gauntlet that she needs to work her way through to get to the top to them... the animation itself will make a lot more sense when the environment has been modelled and textured. Then the whole thing rendered, sounded up, and edited.

That's amazing! Are you using motion capture to get those completely accurate facial expressions and also are you using maya to get the rest of the modelling done?
Either way, stellar job so far, I can't wait to see the end result!
Hey amigo, just checked out the playblast for your animation, looks great so far! Did you create the rig for the character yourself? Also, i saw her facial morphs floating about a few times above her head, everything looks nice and organized, solid work man! I like the pace and flow, and her actions look very natural considering you're doing it by hand, and im eager to see those cliffside houses fleshed out more. Can't wait to see the end result~!

Hey BlightedArt, thanks for stopping by my sketchbook and sorry for taking so long to return the favour. I absolutely love your work, your drawings and characters are so full of life and imagination. The animation is looking superb as well. Keep up the great work I will definitely be checking in here again regularly!!
