Some real nice studies and stuff here, but you are making one cardinal mistake, which is a good clue to wether or not you have studied colour theory. I am guessing "no", or you fell asleep in class. When painting, take into account the colour of your lightsource, seeing as this will colour of on the object you are painting, and the shadow that is derived from this lightsource will carry the hue of the complimentary colour of the colour of your lightsource. These are just the basics, so go get yourself a book about Itten and his laws of colour and try it out. All that said, this is a good effort, so keep up the work, just work smart is all!
some task i had to do for skool. pencil and then color pencil.
and some more for the same assessment. hopefully be putting up some more soon...
top 2 images are some andrew loomis observations, the 3rd was from my head. Some Cartoon looking faces i felt like creating, and the last 2 are character concepts (2nd character is unfinished obviously but both characters need refinement).
Eagle - pitiful attempt at painting in painter. NEED TIPS! brushes, opacity, anything u can think of that would help me with the basics anyway, OR go in depth lol.
