Last sketch is for the current chow ariel. Sorry for the english reply, spanish is my first language i just dont want to let the other guys here alienated.
No prob, you're right. I read your blog and saw you're from Hermosillo, which is great since I'm from there too. Congrats on working professionally on the comics/games field. We both know there aren't many places there to learn this, so learning by yourself and actually getting there is a big accomplishement,
well, it is kinda slow right now, i was working full time on a new graphic novel. but production went to a stall, due to the current economic situation. so it got me too. im sending résumés and trying to find new work like crazy. i still have a long way to go in terms of "making it" but true that... oportunities in our city are scarse. doesn't mean its impossibe thnks to the internet now but maybe 10 years back i would be doing something very different to make ends meet. selling hot dogs or something. by the way people, you have never tasted hot dogs like the ones we have in hermosillo. This is some serious gourmet shit. 5 weiners on a freakin family size bread, plus all the vegetables you want, you really need to see it to believe it, words fall short.
Man, don't remind me of that, I'm long way from home now. Gotta go eat a bunch of those!!! Nowhere and I mean nowhere else can you find hot dogs like those!
I really like the first or the third for the ChOW
Newman: thnx! great stuff on your blog man.
Hai!: thnx man, i try to cram as much as i can sometimes. i think the red sonja entry was all about excesses hehe.
Theo: thnx!, hope you keep watching.
here goes a few more done in the week. first three are kinda like a space opera trio with specific occupations. can you tell wich one is wich? seems pretty straightforward. second one, started with lizardman, and ended up being this armored monster. experimented a bit more with my pencil line. nuff said. see ya with more.
These are fantastic!
The poetic movement and grace of the combatants are wonderfully intertwined with intensity and purpose in your linework and enviable composition.
I sincerely struggle with dynamic poses and will tend to overwork them.
late but daily one. jus remembering some textures and brushes. Thnx a lot for the comments guys. means a lot right now,.
Really nice pencil sketches, and characters are hot.
