Wonderful figurative work, I'm reallying enjoying your steam augmented citizen. Did you do a couple thumnails to figure out what kind of steam gadgets you would have this guy equipped with, if so I'd like to see the ideation process. Keep up the good work sir.
Sketchbook!! Please help me improve!
Hoi guys, been working on paper the last days and will be scanning this evening, funsies^^ But here is a concept for a character
kingshaj: Thanks so much for the encouraging words. Old people are awesome
Gail_Blitzy: Flick away^^
CharReed: Well dwarves were my first army when I collected the little figures. I started a Bretonian army as well, but I found more pleasure in drawing and painting the battles, than leading the little buggers into certain death ( I was a horrible tactician)
crashMMVII: You can, just practise more
staticpen: thank ye sir, quite the compliment
KidApe: No I am affraid I did not do that, I just started sketching after having watched the hunchback of Notre Dame. Hence the stance, but next time I will^^
hey liking all these updates, all those self portraits are sick, i love the lighting for them, its very dynamic and looks very slick, characters look sick as well, can't really think of anything else to say except i wanna see more.
To live is to create, to create is to live. Without art and music, I do not know how I would get by in my day to day life.
You got a lot of hair
Try painting those SP's in daylight, The yellow artificial lighting tends to tell you wrong things about highlights. The truth is that to bring out all the warm and subtle nuances of skintones, you should make the highlights rather pale. Lookie here -> http://www.furiae.com/popup.php?text=skintutorial
Coward! Show your other eye!
Well I shouldn't be talking, I hide my ears too Gonna get rid of my hair soon, it's just hindering me when drawing lol. Anyways, keep it up Sir. Digging the fact that you worked in natural light this time Digging all those characters too! Damn it I should be working harder for TIGS. Aaaaah so much stuff everywhere. Dracula illustrations kick major butt. Moar plz?
damn that's some great character designs. barbarus is wicked and the new ones too. digital as well as penciled ones. keep them coming!
Hey folks, sorry for the lack of updates, but I've gone up north to see, my amigo who moved up here to study. I will get into some nitty gritty digi stuff tomorrow, but have just been doing lots of drawings thuss far. It's fun hanging with these cybernetics students, they are friggin brilliant, though a wee bit geeky, not that that is a bad thing, but the female qutation is about one per every twenty, which is, in itself, a testiment to the future of our spieces.
-Monotony: Thanks buddy, I shall do my best
So that's all you get peeps. see ya tomorrow.
hey, thanks for stopping by my sketchbook and for your kind words. my eyes are okay right now!
you have some nice pieces in here! I especially like your portrait drawings. but the pencils are good too, I like the mass of details!
keep studying, drawing and posting, I'd like to stop by from time to time.
wow that's a cool work man. u are a born artist(as u told by yourself). nice flow of line and amazing quality. i like your boy falling animation sequence most. good work keep it up.
Ah I am back people I would like to share the pencil stuff I did these last days, but I will wait until I get to the computers at school (which begins in a week) and scan there because that is a much MUCH better scanner. I will, however show you what I did today, a pic which is no where close to finished and looks a lot better in the photoshop than out here. But and a turn around for a bow concept. So that is all you get today^^
InFlame: Thank you I really do try and improve as best as I can. Maybe in a year my goal is to become good enough to apply and get into the Atelier school.
me_art_and_animation: Thanks so much, the rolling guy was quite fun indeed
thanks for the words in my sb man. ive never visited yours..some reaaally great designs in here. strong drawings too
Nice sketchbook, man! I'm liking the portraits/characters. Keep it up.
Long day today, in a good way. I got quite a bit further on the knight dude, and had to do things over and over but at long last I don't hate it that much, also I am doing another attempt on funky coloured stuff^^
DeKal: No problem man, and thanks back at ya
M4ze: Never thought of that but thanks
staticpen: Hehe all in good fun^^
takmask: Thanks man, I will
algenpfleger: Took your advise to heart amigo, and thanks
InFlame: If I get into the atelier, you will hear about you be sure
