Hello, am back sorry, for this entire week i did not have internet so not updates
But anyway i did draw this week and here is some of the stuff i did, there are taken from bridgman books of 100 hands
Maidith: hehe well thats what i am trying to be
Anyways, rather unproductive week end.... sorry had lots of homework anyway i will just show you 3 simple drawings i did
i dont know why but this one in real lifes like 10x better
a quick hand sketch i did at school
these are quick less than 5 min ref sketches
just a few hands
Sorry guys but am not going to be able to post for 2 days due to a lot of important projects for my IB diploma (for school)
Hello again, today something a little different, since my italian teacher wants me to do something of the divine comedy a did a drawing on huge paper (so what you are going to see on the scan is part of the picture)
Ya i know the hand and legs are a little messed up
Ok sorry guys, not only i had a lot of homework this week but some of the homework was to draw a few designs for t-shirts about soccer, so i did not have a lot of time i used my drawing time to do the designs. Well i guess i will show you what i came up with, they are not colored so when they are colored they will look better.
All of them are taken from photos except for the first one
algenpfleger: wow second reply from you what an honor
anyway today am happy with my work... so here it is
happy with the first one
just a pissed of batman
and a random guy
lacadam I like what I see. Good to see you're drawing at every opportunity. Good that you are in life drawing, most valuable experience you can get. I would suggest study an aspect of the human figure, than draw, than study than draw, and you'll see faster improvement in your perception. 1st suggestion: proportions. Get those right, burn them in your head, than draw, than go on to the next aspect. I suggest Andrew Loomis for this.
The bridgman hands are great. While copying, look at his design, his simple gestural sweep and counter rhythms throughout the hand. You've caught some of that nicely. And the ink values will help you to see shadow patterns in your life drawings. Don't stop creating these copies.
Nice improvement man, If you wanna work on redering draw from life and really try to see everything as a different tone. It'd be cool to see what you could produce if you spent a large amount of time on one thing. Why not try some self portraits?
Anyway keep up the good work, theres a great feeling to your lines. It'd be cool if you could visit my sb if you have the time.
wow great many comments
Vritra: thanks, i will work on that
AztcFireFlower: Thanks man, you helped a lot and its great to hear from some really good artists
Miles_: ya i should try to do self portraits, and ya i should spend more time on one thing... i will try these days
anyway just a quick update, i really fast drawing i got from the cover of the album the best of bob Dylan
Well am sorry, thats more or less all i can say. Well these weeks have been crazy and i did not have much time do draw, i had some drawing projects for school so i used my drawing time for that and i did not scan the stuff. Well now i am in spring vacations so i dont even have access to a scanner so next week i will be posting like the good old times again.
well am back, i going to show you some of my random stuff that i did this week
This one i like a lot, only that for some reason it does not look as good in the scan
a random horse
Other random things
These i got from two Adam Hughes sketches... great artist
anyway the first one can out toooooooooooooooooo thin
And this one i just find right out funny... yoda, great guy
other random sketches with the time it took to do them
you're getting.... SWOOSHier. It's a good approach to take, since it shows a lot of the movement in a pose. But you're taking it a little too far, and the structure of the body is beginning to get lost. Your faces are looking much better than I've seen from you.
Lake: Thanks and ya i tend to draw like that, i guess you can call it my "style" even though am still to much of an apprentice to have a style
and while am at it i guess i will just add two drawings i did just now
anyway some random sketches
about 2 mins each
Its still a work in progress but anyway for the people that dont get it, IB is the name for my school diploma which is like more quoted and makes you work harder, a lot harder so this is kind of my revenge
hello, well am sorry than am not as productive as i used to be but it is because the SAT is coming next month and i need to study
anyway here are some things i drew from life with a marker
two nude drawings
Wow... your progress is inspiring, really really, your figures are looking worlds different than they used to. Good job (^_^) b . ... makes me want to work on my stuff a lot more, but it is too late now so I should sleep haha. Btw, thanks for complimenting my skyscrapers, I'm gonna work lots till they look happy
2 more sketches and yes i changed my sketchbook's name
well sorry i cant update regularly but the SAT is in a month so i need to study
Anyway here are two things from a project at school
