Wow it is HUGE. Looks nice though. The lights are a great addition to the piece, just keep working at it!.
Wow lots of new stuff! I advise trying to work with face proportions a bit more, your eyes still look a bit off.
ok for your watercolor church thing, I can't tell where the church ends and the background begins. Oh, I just saw it. I dunno how you decided to show the church confused my eyes. I would like to see a bit more persepctive in there, maybe a little bit of the other side of the church so you have it at an angle. I like your palm trees, pretty interesting and loose.
The environment painting is pretty amazing. I know close to nothing about computer painting, so er good luck?
Interesting. The foreground really works well, if a little heavy with the lens flare effect in the left. What's that building in the background? It gets a little lost in the haze.
Asatira oooo u dont think id really use a preset lensflare..do u really think that less of me im jk hopefully i can make the bulding look like atmosphere is acting on it more and not just look like an after thought. thanks for the help
Fearself well its supposed to be the quidditch world cup bulding but its not quite their yet. these are some of my works for EOW 100 EPICNESSSS
thanks for the comment
Frazo thanks sorry i accidently posted the first one 100% i fixed it though. thanks for mozeing on over to my sb hopefully u come on back
o and happy TURKEY DAY
ok im calling this one done. actully looking at it maybe 95% don. this is the only eow i think ill get finished for big no 100 im pretty happy with it but i whish i had some more exp in Enviroments so i could finish but i got a lot out of this one so here it is.
also i was thinking of using maybe this one or using another digital painting for an Ap studio art portfolio if theirs anysuggestions or info anyone wants to share it would help.
sorry uploaded the wrong one
You're really showing a lot of progress. My only gripe is the atmosphere perspective for the boat; it's very clear considering the distance. But I've got to say, the environment has a good composition, and it's well painted. Love the texture on the chain.
Well i just rememberd to check how long iv been here and i just relized that I have now been a part of CA for a year. Its been an amazing year being part of ca Iv made a ton of new friends, which i really needed. And learned a lot about art in every aspect.
This markes a new year for me and art and hopefully this year will be even more productive then the last.
Thanks CA and thank every one else that have taken time, criting, posting, cheering, informing, teaching, and being their.
hopefully ill find a way to help give back to every one in the community, and the founders

well tommorrow is a new day so now i must sleep.
I wanted to check out your portfolio, after reading your post in the EOW EPIC. Your sea environment is really good. Great atmosphere and I think you did a really good job, with it.
Thank you very much for the welcome. You are right, that you are the first.
Hi there! Long time no see xD;Sorry I haven't been on yours for so long..
I see a lot of improvement on your art, that's great! For the last pic, I like how you drew them, how detailed the laces are, and the can's reflection is well depicted The only problem I have is perhaps that the shape looks tilted. But other than that, I think that looks great
and I like the coloring for the tentacle. It's great! The lighting looks very pretty and the texture is very detailed. If I have to complain, it would be that the sea looked...bright. Which, seeing the distance between the bottom of the sea and the ship, probably shouldn't. Or maybe the light's too bright, although I can understand it from aesthetic PoV.
I would love to see more of you ^^~ Good luck !
Thanks so much for coming on back I think our little sketch group is kind of fallen apart hopefully it will all work out I kind of miss everybody.
Well IV been lazy so back to the updates
Some sketchiness and iv got a lot of Painting Wips
If your cans where wemon, i would tap than, or maybe ill tap them regardless.
Practice them shapes and just do what you do.
Just a small up date right now. Did do lots of gesture sketches for around an hour and a half i`ll probably upload those tonight with a few more new paintings. trying to get on the ball and do 1 hour of gestures, 1 portrit, work on school art stuff and then the rest is studying anatomy and sketchieness
heres my portrit for today i wna finish this up it turned out better then i though. its my GF and shes kind of sick right now so if your reading this get better.
It looks alright overall. I would be more careful with the eyes, especially the right (her left) one. And, may work for you or not, try working with a large brush then get smaller with details.
After i got home the portrit i did looks like crap so i tryed again this time from life hopefully it looks better i think i should stick to grayscale for now,
it started out pretty good then i messed it up somewhere along the way...but thats why we practice
It's okay, but something jumped right out at me. You may want to take some time and do some digital studies of eyes and mouths. Right now, they look almost cartoonish in the latest portrait.
lots of gesture drawings i think 45 sec is probably my comfort zone any thing more is time for detail anything less cuts off limbs :o
and i think theirs some sketches in their idk
Asatira: Thanks for the honest truth iv had that problem for a long time, trying to get my sketches to look less cartoonish not that i don't like cartoons but theirs a time and a place and its not for when i want something to look real, any who im ranting thanks. Im picking up the slack and getting rid of this curse and gonna study lips eyes and noses alot

Just a small update for tonight. didnt get too much art done this weekend iv been slackin. o well close to finishing this painting but still lots more to do if any one has any good color theory books or other art books in general im starting to stock up iv already got a good amount of anatomy books so im covered their.
Still got that eye problem. I can't really suggest any color theory books, but Loomis does cover it in one of his books. I think it's the one about illustration. You may want to look through the informative threads, and maybe check out http://gurneyjourney.blogspot.com, he goes over a number of topics in his blog.
