michael - I'm all for the pin striped suit and the skull, i like the way you painted that. great work! it seems to be painted from strait ahead and your head abit from above though.

Mmmmm... errr.. xD no.. I'm not very happy with it.. maybe I will be happier next year
drawn on nov 1st with the aid of a mirror, ballpoint pen on paper
Mirror, sketch and photoshop.
Inspired by Android's selfportraits of course.
Photoshop. 90 mins. From memory, with an occasional peek at my reflection in the back of my iPod.
Done at dinner time. Bit rough... hope you like,
I did one, in like 90 minutes and it's horrible becuase I took only 90 minutes on it. It looks like it's a piece of crap 90 minute shlub of crap.
I looked at one I did last year, spent 6-7 hours on, and want to cry.
Maybe if I spent 6-7 hours on this one it would be better. Maybe not. Some days I feel like just quitting altogether
“It is enough that we set out to mold the motley stuff of life into some form of our own choosing; when we do, the performance is itself the wage.”
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom the emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause and stand wrapped in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed." ~Albert Einstein
Photoshop, referenced from a digital photo. Great stuff from everyone. Looking forward to seeing more.
Yay I'm a party of a big event! Well, not too happy with it, but before I don't get anything in... here we go

Oh! I want too!
Made a Photo with my Isight camera for reference and did this in PS CS3 with a Graphire 4.
Ok, This is really so inspiring.
The second one doesn't look all that much like me.
Well, the nose does.
Also used a Photo as reference in PS CS3 with Graphire 4.

I used photoshop CS2 and a digital photo for reference.
Ref: Reflection on shiny scanner lid :/
I plan to do another when my eyes aren't burning... and with a mirror.
I was in last year, so i said to myself: "why not make a tradition out of this?" So voilà. Might do another one, this one looks too sad. Then again, it's a sad and gray day outside, so it seems fitting. Medium's acrylic on cardboard and it's about A3 sized.
Edit: used the bathroom mirror.
