Thanks Max. I draw inspiration from so much stuff that I can't list it all! But I'd have to say that dreams and nature are my biggest inspirations followed by movies.
Amazing sketchbook I just bookmarked! Love the creature designs.
Check out my sketchbook
The industrial equipment below is from a game demo I've been the lead 2D artist for. I was given permission to show these. Hope you enjoy.

nothing less than AWESOME.
A mutated eel. I've always liked the mysterious creatures in the oceans. Who knows what's down there.
I haven't used a charcoal pencil in a long time so I thought I'd give it a shot. For some reason the attachment manager isn't doing what I want so I'm using a link for now.
Man from post 209 and on, my mind was getting blown! Haha
Also, I really enjoyed those first two speed paints you posted. You should think about returning to those; you have a good natural sense of color. But like you said, you just need to get out of your comfort zone a little bit and push those boundaries.
You have a great sense of value with the bic pen/pencil, you should carry that over to color/paints. Good luck and keep working hard.

Here's one I just finished.
"fruit bat on crack"
Had a sudden urge to doodle this.
daaaaaaaaaaamn really nice creatures and dragons! i really like that artsy look you have, you could work more in the enviroments, unless of course you dont want to go in that direction, anyway keep them coming!
I adore your creature designs & your attention to tiny details with your amazing crosshatching technique. You make even the grainiest of pictures look smooth comparatively.
Keep up the awesome work!

An new pic. I typically don't sketch truly demonic forces but, every now and then one slips by.

Wow man, those creature designs look fantastic! I especially love that skeleton thing in #237, 2nd paper, lower left. Those details and looseness definitely got me there!
A daily doodle.
