anatomy is looking good but sometime your hands or feets are like: woah, wtf. happened to them ;D I see there problems and suggest some studies
last envi is awesome, my coin:
In the background are some major rocks, but the foreground is pretty flat. some rocks in the foreground(and i espeacially mean even before the character) would make the world more believeable and would put more perspective in it.
btw. whats up with the left womans right lag, some strange wobbles.
Sry, when i seem to be harsh, just want to help
Thank you everyone! I'm trying to improve my characters (figure / face wise) the most at the moment but I have to keep up with my environments too.
Sorry for the lack of updates but I was busy with commissioned work. Here is a quick environment sketch for today though:
Hey Lyno thanks for checking out my stuff. I just went through many of your pages and wow you are growing with your skills! Just keep going and it seems like you have some goals you are going towards. Draw everyday and mix in some life drawings. I see you like creating environments. Keep going with those and mix in some location drawings if you can. Here are some location paintings I created over the last few years...
Haven't checked here in a while but great updates!
Regarding the basic "poppenmannequin" you used for the anatomy drawings on the previous page, it may be interesting to try and draw the dynamic lines first, kind of like in this blog.
But keep up the great work
1 - your environment with rain (page 33 I think) is awesome. Love it.
2 - construction lines over photographs is brilliant. I've done it for 3d models, but never considered it for drawing.
3 - your sketchbook honestly gave me chills. Somehow I went back a year in your timeline, then saw your recent work. That's some serious growth. I'm inspired.
Nice to hear Lav . For the lower lip, hmm, draw from reference first I guess? Maybe this helps
Thanks everyone for the kind reply's !!!!
Here is a face from reference. I referenced the features and colours. I forgot from which painter and which painting it is, I'm sorry. It's a detail from a larger painting.
And then I did this head from imagination so I could check which parts I adapted.
Things still feel off though. What do you think?

you are making some great progress. one thing to consider in ever study is that when you are working with limited time you should fine a focal point and focus your energy mostly there so that the unfinished-ness of your study isnt of any loss to the doodle.
If you are doign a portrait atleast fully render the lips, eyes, or a portion of the face, and evertyhign else can skew off into obscurity. Areas of focus should have the most clear distinction of hard vs soft edges.
Also this will keep your doodles fresh and dynamic.
keep pressing foward. i believe in you.
Your portraits are awesome man!!
Pretty fresh and dynamic as lolbbq already said.
I'd like to know if you are using pressure opacity or if you paint with manual opacity.
I stuck with some things like that and I'm not sure what other guys usually do in this point.
Hey LtPlissken, thanks mate, I will !
Hi lolbbq, thanks for the tip, appreciate it!
Hey tasser, thanks for the visit , I use a hard round brush with pen pressure opacity.
Thank you RBeek !
Here are 4 faces I'm working on, tips, comments very welcome. I think I need to tweak the skin tones more, these faces are still wip.
And some sketches:
Those face renderings look outstanding,
I like em very much. Well, my skill level is not
on some too high rating, so I do not know
what to give you for an advice, except to
keep working like you do, cause it looks fantastic to me.
And I want to mention, I forgot it earlier that 'Athmos Planet'
concept is so awesome. Great job on that.
Hi LtPlissken , thank you very much friend !
Thank you very much vivi, I will !
Thanks SnobbyOo, your works are getting great mate !
Here is an environment I'm working on, started as a small environment but I trying to adapt it for the Kitchen RPG project. I'm also recording this one, so maybe expect a new video soon !
