Great stuff here! Your Referenced work is solid - really solid. I might suggest trying to incorporate a reference piece for stuff done from your imagination. (I am in the same boat - stuff from my head just isn't as strong as my referenced pieces - and it's hard as hell to find a ref piece to match something from your head. Just a suggestion though) Keep em coming!
Daryl Zero: "A few words here about following people. People know they're being followed when they turn around and see someone following them. They can't tell they're being followed if you get there first."
Thanks a lot Meticulous
I try to use ref when i'm concepting it comes in useful. Think most of my problem is trying to get digi paints to do what i want them to. I'm a lot happier with some paint and a brush but i'll get the hang of it if its the last thing i do
Really far from finished Chow
good study....keeep it up...!
Trying to get my sketchbook up and running again i'll start with my still life progression as i've studied alongside the rest of the daggers with Dave Rapoza at the helm and a self portrait from today
Gonna try to update daily from now on so long as i'm able
Good studies so far. Keep it up =).
I find your method of toning interesting in your life poses, good style but curving those lines in contrast to the muscles of the body will make your work leap from the page your colour work is great though
Zombie portrait is kick ass man. Keep up the studies and keep drinking Irn Bru
Great stuff man! Great stuff.
Love the studies your doing, they are very solid and there's a sweet mixture of them. They seem focused and well done.
Your balancing it with imagination, but I think you should do a bit more imagination after every study, just to really get the most out of it
Keep on going this way though and you'll be burning up
Really looking forward to where this will go
Keep at it!
likin it! Looks like you're studying all the stuff that will help you already!
