some things i got to mention though!
first your toon shaded renders look kinda jagged maybe you can smooth that out !
and maybe you can add some more shading to them you know?
still keeping it cartoony but include some more shadow parts!
at the moment they look kinda flat to me!
The house looks cool! Only thing there looking kinda wrong is the monkey and the squid pictures because they are very pixelated, you should search for a larger texture for it or just redraw it in photoshop to a vector image so you can stretch it to needed resolution!
Also have a look at your lighting, you can get a lot more out of your renders! check out "digital lighting and rendering" a very well written book on this exact topic
keep upt the work man ! I'd like to see more of that valesquez stuff rendered

thnks for the comments. i am planning on doing the models in a toon shader cause at the moment they are just done in ink and paint in the map menu.

To fix jaggedness, use material supersampling. Max 2.5 star is ok, but you may want a uniform (4-36 samples) supersampler. I'll clean it up.
Is this 3ds max? I mean, I think it is...

Really? Cool! I was always kinda bothered by some of the jagged edges I got from the ink n' paint materials in max, but never fiddled around enough to find out what was wrong.Thanks for the info!
Teelin: Just out of curiosity, did you use an environment lighting script for the house in the first pic? It looks strangely familiar. Other than that, I really love the designs of the blades, as impractical or unwieldy as they may seem. It would be great to see you experiment with some reflective/glossy mats and environment maps for the blades though. If you pull it off right, it'd look pretty sweet.

Ahh, I never saw that movie - heard it was good though. Well, if you want to keep faithful to its source, then I guess we'll forget the reflective mats I can't see it too well from this angle, I suppose, but the handles look like they could be a bit thicker; they look a little flat.
