That's an awesome looking start Marco, I can't wait to see the rest of the pages! You're inspiring me to start posting some stuff too, just gotta find some time. I'm looking forward to your updates dude, hurry up!!
Great start Marco, got great mood and movement going on. Head on the ape man seems kinda popped on though, he could use some more of those reds from the torso to bring his head on and out.
yo marco! UPDATE!
ooh..good luck :3
lol, mr blonde, im movin as fast as i can! i have to actually DRAW the stuff first u know, lol.
that guerrilla is pretty sick man. I love the sense of momentum.
Lol i got the numbers of those chicks in the sketchbook you gave me in montreal. you want em?

long live the 301
a VERY undercolored version of the first draft for my character of the week, i decided to enter. its about a woman from the french revolution tho, so i dont know if ill go back and color it, or ill leave it this way. at this point, the background, and the ground plane are painted over, to preserve the feeling of the old polaroid, (obviously an anachronism since i dont think cameras were around in the year the french revolution was
todays sketches. ive been working a lot on technical aspects to try to improve, so forgive me if i dont post a lot in this sketchbook at times. im hard at work!! G N O M O N to the rescue!
This is some kick ass sh**! Are you doing it in Painter of photoshop? I love those pencils, great technique. Totally kick ass. I'll be a regular I am sure!
thanx pug, im kinda bouncin back and forward between the two
Cool to see you posting again, now throw us some more stuff :P
yo, whatup marco?
THIS one is AWESOME. I'd buy a print of this one (depending on price, hehe).
Dude, I just love the way you render! That girl is SICK (and I don't mean like she has an illness)
Can't wait to see more from you. I don't recall seeing your "old' book so...
and there we have it!!! a rough of my VERY FIRST environment. ill render it in photoshop. from now on, ima try to do one enviro a day. i learned a couple tricks while doing it, im happy! (but not satisfied)
It was a pleasure to meet you man. Your portfolio was a highlight of the trip for me :)
Good start to the new sketchbook. I'mg lad you started doing environments.
thanx man, i appreciate that. was fun to meet u too. the drunk "i love you man!!"'s actually were the highlight of mine, lol.
Marco!! Howdy bro. Good god you work fast man. Great start to the new sketchbook. You are tearing out of the starting gates with a fury of improvements. I want more hot chick boob licking in here though. At least you cannot leave this sketchbook in the airport bathroom...
You're a fun guy with a lot of passion for your work. I feel that you have a future ahead of you. Keep it up.
I sent you a PM on a few things I didn't want to post here.
NICE dude - better than mine - I'm TERRIBLE at environments (and digital painting, I figure I just need practice)
minor crits - this looks like a street. If you look down the street, you rarely ever see the horizon line. Usually a building blocks your view before you see a horizon, unless you're looking uphill or something. Toss in a building where your vanishing point is; close it up some. get rid of the horizon line actually in there. I don't know whether you meant to ink it in or not, but you really don't need to.
that being said - AWESOME drawing - I'll get on some of that myself soon.
damn panda, your so far beyond your years. thanx for the crit, ill remember that in the next one
tasty tasty tasty...
Nothing to crit really, just loving it :)
Seriously bitchin' work Marco. Your chow makes me nervous. lol
I like your Lady figure!
I love it marco. Looked at it for awhile to crit but not much came around. U'd better post the color. one thing. i think u lost ur value too quickly. unless ur going for that over exposure feel. its goes white then to 50% and then to black. if u wanna add some atmosphere.... a really powerful tool in enviro's use the 20 or 30 for the farther away stuff. add some bounced light off the right wall to the left side thats doused in shadow. that will add some dynamics. but like i said take my crits lightly. they are more like ideas. not that the drawing is bad... im just curious where u were going with that white panel on the far right. its pulls my eye away. either way keep showing off ur sweet art.
ah, ob, i know what happened. i darkened it in photoshop to get rid of the marker lines, lol. i had a lot of different value, thanx tho, ill be consious of it now
a few character sketches for a project im workin on. i think i MAY have a gig illustrating the cover of a book, (provided the guy decides to pay the proper price, lol). but of course, the actual illustrated cover wont be in this style, itll be painted, full render.
Great sketch on the black guy, stuff's very solid, keep it up.
Hey buddy. That Emberillius concept is nice. I love the costume design. The only thing that I see that may need work is from the ribs to the crotch look out of perspective.
Again, you are fast my friend.
This one is very nice: http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/3...%20closeup.jpg
renderingwise, although the Anatomy seems alittle of stomach, and proporations I mean!
Just keep drawing man! :)
aww, u guys dont like the long weasel stomach look? lol. ok. thanx for tha crits guys
