Cartoons, Animations, A New Sketchbook
Old sketch, toyed with it, topic was yeti's gone wild for proposed frisbee team.
Love the Paul Pierce and Big Three drawings.
Jonathan L. : Thanks,
Here's another one of pierce in ink and pastel, and one of Bruce lee in painter, both done a few years ago, haven't done much new pictures recently, but hoping to get motivated and work on something.
Animation test of a guy using a pallet jack to move some boxes;
Some quick key frames for a animation project;
Animation storyboard for project;
Hah! I love the caricature work. Also, nice painting of Mr. Lee. He was and still is an inspiration of mine, especially when I first got into bodybuilding.
Thanks for checking out my sketchbook and the book suggestions. Us Bostonians love our Celtics. A lot of hardcore fans out here. Are you from the area? Oh, and yes, I have Photoshop.
Testing animation in Adobe photoshop, basketball dribbling:
rendered at 15fps:
Color and rendered at 12fps:
Basketball dunk rotoscoped then I did a viking:
A little inbetweening still pretty rough;
More inbetweening on Viking Dunking animation;
Vikings usually have the horns on their helmets, but they look kinda bad, so I figured the wings would be better and this Viking could be a Good Viking who helps women and children and volunteers at the local community center teaching kids good sportsmanship:
A pirate duel, rotoscoped from a fencing clip; I added the costume to the guy on the left.
Hey man. Thanks for dropping by my sketchbook. Glad to see you back to posting.
The animations look really smooth man. Neat.
All the work you have here is very highly stylized and simplified. How about posting up some more work in different styles to give us a better idea of the depth of your knowledge?
Sepulverture; hey thanks for the feedback I appreciate it, I'm not too sure how far the depth of my knowledge goes, but I found this old piece I did for a friend when they were sick,
Cristina Agulera, from the voice;
Some fishes; with marker.
You have really nice motion in your work but I agree with Sepulverture, would be nice to see some different stuff showing off the skills those (awesome) caricatures are hinting at!
You have a very nice style mate, I really like it. And your sense of animation is quite nice. Keep on posting. I want to see more of your work :)
Yeah I like the style a lot. It would be cool to see some of the line work really cleaned up on the faces of some of the more finished pieces. I think you would get a lot of pop.
Old study from a photo, played around with it in photoshop;
Also digital airbrushing old brigman anatomy studies;
Some more older brigman studies revisited
Someone's got some pretty nice hands in here ;) and I love the fishes, I think they'd look great animated, no?
Finding old sketches and painting and tweeking them;

I really like your style. It gives off a nice feeling to it
