So there we have it - a lot of images I'm afraid :)
Let me know what you think,
Ohh, I'm envious of your trip. It's great to see sketches like these without knowing the place or seeing photos attached, getting a unique perspective.
As a side note, I'm amazed at how badly designed the cover of the "japan rail pass" is.
Thanks :) Yeah, a bit of an obvious choice of image for a japanese rail pass I thought, but then we would say that! Love the watercolours on your blog by the way
I can feel the Japan and Kyoto...
I like, one of my favorites is the Fushimi Inari one. I like your grey/black ambiancy.
Thank you for posting and sharing it!
Thanks for dropping by Eien, and thanks for the comments :)
Here's the latest batch of sketchbook work - pubs, around town, life drawing etc:
All comments welcome :)
your ink work is so amazing!! I'm always so scared of using ink for sketches...
I really like your ink sketches, particularly the one of Kinkaku-ji. Really cool :D
Kanda & Sleepingrabbit - thankyou very much for your kind comments :) Sorry I've not checked this thread to reply earlier.
I've got a bunch of new sketchbook images to upload here, and a small portrait painting done at Life Sessions in Notts:
