Here's some stuff I have done lately<3 I'd love to get some critique so I can improve:D
Here's a ninja turtle I did while watching the orignal live action movie tonight<3
I wanted to do colors...but I'm having difficulty with underpainting and geting the colors looking right and what not...help is appreciated<3
Eh. Color is hard for me. To much going on for my brain to wrap around. And it tends to look flat and boring because my color choice is bleh. Just have to work harder I suppose:)
the turtles look awesome.. the last one is my favorite.. but all of your pieces have something that i like.. i just don't know what it is.. the anatomy may not be completely accurate but it has a certain appeal to it (: keep it up man
Thank you very much:)
New one...another still from the film.
I think one reason you find your colors to be off is you often work within really a compressed value and mostly linear hue scale that flattens your forms and keeps your paintings from having unity. Mostly looking at the portrait in post 2. Push those values! Really solid work otherwise :]
Thanks for the tips:)
Here's some quick practice before I head out for the night.
nice stuff man! keep pushin!!
Brian Wilson! Fear the beard.
Here's another one. I should be pushing harder. Gr.
Hey, push those values. Darker darks, lighter lights.Oh and if you have trouble painting in colors, try painting in grayscale and then apply color using the "Color" type layer in photoshop, after you get your values right. It lets you focus on one thing at a time.
Thanks man! I agree.
Here's a WIP.
Here's the finished product.
Last one from tonight.
Here's a pear from today.
keep it up and hard brush please not just soft.
A still life from today<3
A lot of stuff wrong with this one. Critiques appreciated. <3
Since the first post, i can see the improvement with the colors !
For your last drawing i like the face, but i don't understand the position of his right hand?
@Kiwee - Thanks man! :) Yeah the right hand was supposed to just be resting on his hip...i think it was just laziness on my part:(
Here's a painting I did of Lupe Fiasco<3
gotta keep moving forward! Yeeeah!
I Really like the sea captain in your second post!, your last painting shows a lot of improvement!
Here's some studies<3
I definitely need some work on the legs/feet.
Here's some more from today<3
Here's the last one for today:D
Nice works you have here, #22 is my favourite, keep it up )
Here's some stuff..needs work. Hm:[
Gotta push! push pushpush!
Here's one from today<3
your pictures are so humourous, especially the female nudes. Are they drawn from life? I like your stuff.
