Thank you but can you tell me which robot exactly? I got 2 robots in the thread. Also can you point out the fault in the perspective?
A friend of mine is planning to buy a large poster of the Metro Bug, so I spent a day and a bit working out all the little issues it had since it is a year old. I fixed the perspective, fixed the lighting, added reflections, spit, smoke, shadows, etc.
Next up we have some rather quick character designs.
And lastly for this update, we have a speed paint of a gloomy environment.

Cool, did you use to post at the Spawn forum ages ago? Recognize the name and style I think, perhaps even some drawings..? Anyways nice collection of various stuff. Broad.
Strangely enough, I did! When I was 12-13-14 maybe!
It's hard to believe you remember me from it. I had a stupid name like "Manslaughter" or something, but I always signed my drawings "Pavel".
There is no chance you recognize any of these paintings because I was on Spawn from 2002-2004 approximately, and only did pencil sketches of monsters back then. I'v come a way since!
Ok, awesome, I remember you for sure! You, mr Pascenko and draw4u
Hi Pavel, I really like the first piece from post 32. Scary creature, dynamic angle/action and very good use of texture all around. You need more of this..:)
You mean the metro bug? Yea I am fond of that piece, I got a lot of help from Ca on it. It was a tough one.
"Gate of the Hopeless"
"Gate of the Hopeless, Beta version"
Hello guys, I am back! I have been focusing on school a lot, as it is my last semester! However, it is my mom's birthday so I made this to decorate to go with the nice silver frame my mom bought.
It is a bust of Athena, the Greek Goddess of war.
"Athena and the fly"
300 pixels per inch, 12000 x 12000 pixels.
Colour Balance Adjustment:
dude, i seriously have no words for your athena - picture. simply stunning...
Oh wow, thank you so much for the kind words!
I also edited the picture, I rotated the eye and adjusted the perspective on her mouth. I think it looks more symmetrical now.
I was having issues because the statue I was referencing was really un-symmetrical, especially in the eyes.
EDIT: Edited the Athena painting a third time, on Oct 24th.
haha #33 IS WICKED RAD AN THE ONE IN #40 IS EPIX RRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WOW ON THE COLOR AN LIGHTING XD
Thanks Smileface! Glad you like it. I printed and laminated onto wood with black sides a 27 by 27 inch print of Athena and The Fly, and it looks pretty cool.
Under-water scene made for my dad as a birthday gift. Printed and laminated this onto wood with black sides as well.
Please vote for me in Wacom's contest. Just click "vote for this entry". It might ask you to to log into facebook but I'm not sure.
Here is an oil commissioned portrait. The person never showed up to look at it, so I wasted 52 hours. Oh well, got some practice. Oils are tough!
I really love Athena and the fly!
You have very well executed and dark images! :)
Two things I have to add though. In some places the proportions seem a bit off and Julius Cesars´ hair at the top seems flat oO dunno how this is possible^^
But all in all very amazing stuff! ;)
Thanks Doomhammer! I appreciate you taking a look and enjoying Athena and the Fly!
I have been hard at work creating my new architectural sculpture "Ginger Bread House"!
I hope you like it! Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
Medium: Ginger Bread.
Hello! These portraits were done before the New Year, but I only got around to posting them now. I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year! Cheers.
A portrait I painted of a friend of mine in return for him creating my website.
A triple portrait a friend of mine commissioned as a gift to her parents. I printed it on 100 year archival paper in 24 by 36 inches and framed it. Apparently the gift was a success and everyone liked it!
Here is an environment I completed about a month ago.
It used a character of mine from 2010.
300 pixels per inch
57 inches wide by 30 inches high
great work man i really like the portrait of missile, that portrait of your friend and the Ginger Bread is just awesome keep it up man :)
However, the terribly built ginger bread house was supposed to be a joke haha, I don't think anyone got it. It isn't an actual sculpture I am proud of haha.
Made this portrait for my girlfriend for Valentine's day.
13,200 pixels wide by 14,100 pixels high.
300 pixels per inch.
Also as shameful as it is, I used pixlr-o-matic to adjust my friend's portrait. It got into Cg Society by the way!
Finally I played around with my Athena wallpaper.
Sales Office Insignia
My sales office where I work as a marketing assistant saw my artworks and requested I make them an insignia. They requested almost all the objects in the scene, except the fibre optic cables which I came up with myself as well as the orb.
I finished it within 2 weeks, with 35 hours under its belt. It was displayed on the big screen as part of the company meeting and the sales office was happy with it.
I printed this out on fine art paper and framed it in a metallic frame. Looks great on the office wall.
300 pixels per inch
56 inches wide, 34 inches high
your portraits are amazing
Thank you to the both of you, I am really into portraits lately!
Hey guys! I remade my website from scratch. Everything is completely new! I would love if you took a look at it:
"A Matter of Classe"
CLASSE is an organization of student protesters in Montreal that are embarrassing the city, causing violence, vandalizing, skipping class, not going to exams, preventing others from going to exams, all because the tuition will be raised by 300$. If they spend the time they used to be lawless gorillas to pick up a shift at work or two, they would have had weeks of full time pay already.
THEIR LOGO IS A RED SQUARE.
What you did with Michaelangelo's David in the Pitiful picture was really clever. (A man with a vagina is underused material.)
Thank you, I am glad to fill that void haha!
2012. Photoshop Cs5. This is my first commission from Reddit. This couple wanted a portrait of them to be painted from scratch and loved the result. This was really fun, so I look forward to doing more stuff like this!
