and some life
heres my entry for the weekly environment challenge- "half obliterated space hangar" i imagined some pirates lurking within.
so here's the finish and a couple process shots, it changed drastically cause i really had no idea what i wanted at the start. tell me if its too dark, i wanted to keep a 'secret' feel
you can see it got flipped and completely worked over
tryin to be fashionable,
hmm, attachment manager seems to be stripped down, maybe glitchy, hopefully these show up alright
Your firing on all cylinders across such a wide range of approaches.
great work man. lots of leveling up!
been folloeing your stuff on sijun for years.
So awesome stuff it's actually a bit intimidating for someone less skilled, like me :D
Your style is amazin! Thank you for the inspiration :D!
love this one
kareem ilya? if not check him, hes ridic
some very original style here! Nice!
#332 image is great! i love the colors from there, thats some stuff i love to see!
bill- thanks, i like the automotive metaphor!
Flaskpost- good to see you here! i love seeing sijunners on here, makes it feel like a secret club or something lol.
fireframe- haha now i feel like a tough guy, but really i feel intimidated by great artists everyday. lots of people on these very forums are downright scary in their skill level.
niall, Nerferin-thanks to youz two
Velocity- thanks for the recommend! really enjoying Kareem's work, these ones i did were mainly inspired by david downton and rené grau.
paul- glad you like that one, it has a weird value structure and i was unsure if its working or not
tried one with same model in artrage, hard to get used to but the limits are its strengths!
some messing around
this one was for my sister's gaming blog, its celebrating Jiub from Morrowind, who slew all the cliffracers! it was a difficult angle,
damn i love these new ones
i really like how i can see the brush strokes in the picture of the face of the "model in artrage." i think it adds some nice texture to the piece. but i usually dont like seeing brush strokes, so nice work! and secondly, i like your simple pieces with just two colours
great sense of design here. Keep up the good work! Will be following this sketchbook for sure.
Hey, really nice work! I like "now everybody listen up, cause i'm not going to say this again..." piece!! Awesome job, well done ;)
thankyou classmate! ha i like that name.
I really want to get good economy of effort and simplification skills, a little sketch to start the direction off
dunno what to do with the reflection of sky, brushing could be changed up alot to be nicer. yar yar yar
Good stuff in here!
I think you could select the cloud layer, use free transform and just drag down the upper part to make some reflections of the clouds
i think the reflection looks fine as is. maybe some very fine riple lines like a fingerprint texture, in some darker greeny brown, like theres a breeze blowing along the shot, but as is it also reads well as an antarctic ice lake (drifting snow) or a slick of plastic or glass (dead machine locked half sunk into it) that was molten but set in place, both of which could be cool.
