bought my first tablet...here is a sketch I did with nothing in mind messing around with the pen
every day type sketches from my head
Your traditional paintings are gorgeous, I wish I could paint like that! The man with the clocks is beautiful and makes me wonder what his connection to time is (Is he Swiss? Is he Lorentz? Is it just a random connection?). The hand grasping the chicken and the sad eyes peerin from under the mess are really well done, very impressive.
And I know that a tablet feels weird the first time you use it, but keep at it! Your very solid experience in traditional media will help you out bigtime in painting digitally!
Keep up the good stuff!
just trying to keep moving forward
Nice work, you seem to have a very solid understanding of the human figure as far as I can tell. No critiques for me, just praise :D
a few more quick water colors
short poses today; not the best but ok
took a moment to photograph a few things.
Cool stuff, you are on the right track. I really like the cloth in post 14.
Keep on going and remember the basics!
dusted off the digital tablet for some doodles from the head
From memory, 30 second drawings, and a couple computer doodles...
felt like posting a few things
I did some photoshop painting....using van dyck as a reference.
Beautiful paintings, drawings and studies!
quickie of Rubens
Great work so far! I prefer to use a brown or otherwise dark background for painting, since I find it is easier to blend.
Don't post here that often but, I thought this was interesting this is me doing a gesture drawing.
