My Paintings (27/05)
Hello my name is Emanuel, I am 17 years old.
I just got my WACOM few months ago and I really want to increase my level at painting and drawing.
For the beginning I uploaded some works from my sketch book & other, I would like to hear comments about it.
Old but i like that
Not so like that work..but its cute
One of my favorites
Somthing for my father BD
By the Way.....my English is not so good hehe
At least new post
Some new sketches and works that I made in the last Period:geekg:
Before the end:
Basically it should be a Character after the evolutionary
And some more things:
I have a scanner but he doesn't work:davi:
I like the detail you put in your stuff but so much of it seems to distort the figure at some places (like the masked gladiator's knees and hip). Go easier on it and apply it for better effect in the right places and keeping the characters shape more consistent.
Looking promising so far. :)
Rotor- thnx for the comment.
I'll take that attention!!!
Some cool stuff, i don't know if you ment to do this but ive noticed with the heads the eyes are too small and too close together, so if you didn't plan that then its something to look out for.
element1988- I did not mean to do it.
But this painting before six months and more hhh
Your marks are very finnicky. Think large to small. Establish large planes of light with larger brushes, then you've earned the right to put small creases and highlights on.
Hey man thanks for looking at my sketchbook.
What I'm about to say is not to insult or discourage but to make you improve your art.
you need to do the basics like painting a sphere or a cube and work on the shading and lighting look up for tutorials for that in CA.org I'm sure you can find some.
after you've done with those and have basic understanding of light and shadow move on and work on your blending skills.
You need to do lots of anatomy studies I would suggest Andrew Loomis "Figure drawing for all its worth" and Hogarths's Dynamic Anatomy and Bridgeman books.
Draw as much as you can from real life, draw cups, bottles, spoons whatever you like to get better with color and tonal values.
there's a lot to learn but it's all possible and I can help you with that if you're serious.
thnx for the post man, im still learning anatomy and all this shit (:
my skechBook from the papers[the real one] is full in practicing and all that.
but the scanner isn't working:(
so I cant upload my practicing to here
Hey there ... the blue pen studies are awesome! I really like all the effort you put in. Anatomy study is king .. The more of it you can do the better! keep up the great work.
BTW ... thanx for making a turn at me sketchbook thread!
Nice work superema!
Your shading is really improving and I really like the blue pen stuff.
Some of your drawings are really disturbing(in a good way)!:D
Keep up the work, you will be awesome in no time if you practice a lot!
shambok - thnx alot for the comment!
DSmith - I will continue to practice!
some new update!
I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE HAND!!!
can someone please help me?!?!
Hey dude! you asked for help you got it! if you want to really control what your drawing and make it look good open some anatomy books, I recommend getting George Bridgemans books he has the 200 hands book among other very well drawn and informative books. you have Andrew Loomis"s "drawing the head and hands" which is awesome too and will teach you tons also check out Burne hogarth's books he is awesome as well.
the more you will practice the better you get no way around it.
Thanks for dropping by to my sb =)
by the way.. I really like your sketch man.. the stroke is really loose. keep up a good work!
